My husband booked this from another site and didn't check tripadvisor. It took 20 minutes to check in. The room was clean but... there was no hairdryer, clock radio, or tissues. There was one tiny bar of soap and shampoo. The air condition worked when it wanted to, and most windows were painted shut. The ice machine only filled 1/2... More

Our family stayed in one of the cottages for a week. The pluses were that the cottage was clean and the location was great. We weren't at the cottage a lot, thank goodness. If we had been, it never would've worked. Here's a list of just some of the things that weren't right: - Internet access didn't reach the cottages... More

My husband and I arrived at the Colonial on August 25th until the 31st. It was a great stay. The rooms are a little dated, but very clean, and well kept. New TV's have been added, and our beds were very comfortable. All the staff were very accommodating, and friendly. The grounds are maintained beautifully, and we look forward to... More

They were very nice about arranging our rooms so we could be close to our family/friends, However, our room with a kitchenette was quite dated. It had a very small fridge plugged in to an outlet over the kitchen table. It had a toaster but it only toasted one side at a time. There was NO microwave. The ice machine... More

Our room was clean, the beds comfortable, the bathroom a tad small but clean, the shower hot, the air conditioner functioned properly, the TV newer &; functional, We would have liked a clock in the room & most importantly the tub had no grab bars at all. We feel this is extremely important & should be addressed at some point.The... More

This is the first negative review I have ever written. We had three rooms, one efficiency and two motel rooms. We reserved months in advance so I called several days prior to our scheduled arrival to let them know I would be arriving late. I was informed I cancelled my reservation. I did not! It took two days, but they... More

This place was beautiful a long long time ago... But management has NO interest in updating anything. Every piece of furniture is probably 30yrs old. Have stayed in the motel rooms and they are just barely OK but had no idea what horror staying in a cottage would be like until this week. Filthy old place... Carpeting that is stained... More

I didn't like anything. The room was a disaster. No electrical outlet or exhaust fan in the bathroom. No alarm clock, lighting horrible. No shade in window where air-conditioner was installed. Needed to place a beach towel over the window. Ice machine always empty. Cleaning staff had a language barrier. The bath towels were as thin as toilet paper. The... More

We checked in on Saturday afternoon... Friendly staff...We had a room on the second floor facing the pool...The room was clean. We needed more towels which they gave us...There was no hair dryer in the room...but when I asked for one at the front desk, They handed me a brand new one still in box.....The bed was comfortable......Woke up to... Just had two nights here. The place is old fashioned...don't mind that, in fact we expected it. The room was damp smelling and the maid never came to make the beds after the first night. No hair dryer, no tissues in the room, screen on window had a hole in it, no coffee facilities...all these things should be standard when... More
