What a surprise this place was. Large rooms. VERY CLEAN!! (this was the Standard Room - lower level). Windows in front and back. Indoor, outdoor pool and jacuzzi were very clean. Beds were in great shape. Pillows and blankets were good condition. No refridgerator, coffee maker, microwave and TV was older type (not an issue for me). Beach isn't really... More

Rooms were old and dated; 50's furnishings! Stove/refrigerator combination but no microwave. Room in photo was obviously painted a light color for brightness (not showing dark paneling). Lighting was poor. Only bright spot was the staff; very friendly and accommodating!!

After noticing that our first lodging choices were booked, we opted to purchase an online, one-night stay at the Colonial Village Motel & Cottages for a last minute fall getaway weekend. We’d not been there before. Upon arrival, we entered the registration area and said hello to a sour-faced woman who I immediately surmised should not be working a “people-person”... More

My room was old and dated. The wooden windows did not open, except in the bathroom, so you could not air the place out. It smelled a bit stale. A dresser drawer almost fell off its rails as you as you opened it. The front desk person was not friendly. I would not stay in this motel again, and I... More

We traveled across capecod and found Dennis port to be midway between the two ends. The motel is clean, the service very good. We wanted an efficiency and this was a spacious room and relatively cheaper than other motels in the area. The bathrooms have been remodeled as have the rooms which are soundproof . It was good not to... More

So, if you can live with the fact that this place needs to be redone, but IS clean, then you might give this place a chance. If you are thinking this is going to be like new hotels with kitchenettes, it is NOT. Everything is outdated. BUT, they have two pools and they are one block from the beach. There... More

We paid more than we've ever paid for a motel to stay here, because we booked late and it was for the Fourth of July weekend. Given that we had paid top dollar to stay there, we were hoping for a comfortable stay. However, the beds were uncomfortable, the Wifi only worked outside our room, and the air conditioning in... Having read TA reviews I expected a small motel and was pleasantly surprised to find a large motel with plenty of space around the outdoor pool. The indoor pool looked inviting as well inside a glass atrium. Our room was large with two double beds. "Dated"? Sure but cleanliness is so much more important. Near restaurants and a short drive... The rooms are very outdated, probably from 1970 or so, however they are clean and the staff is accomodating. I think it is ridiculous that they charge an additional $15 per person over 2 people in a room, most hotels allow 4 people in a room with two double beds with no extra charge. The pool is nice and clean,... More

The Colonial Village Motel & Cottages is a convenient place to stay, close to good restaurants, the beach, and typical, homey Cape Cod towns. We have stayed here at least 4 times and always enjoy our stay. There is never any traffic on the road out front to speak of. Also, even though someone isn't at the front desk 24/7,... More
