My wife and I stay in many hotels, but never before have we stayed in one for 5-months. Because of water damage to our home, the two of us and our cat, moved to the Residence Inn. This hotel is outstanding. Following the lead of the General Manager, all the staff is warm, friendly, professional and truly caring. In addition... More

This hotel is great!! The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean, big and had everything we needed for an amazing stay! We had a room with a kitchen in it and that was everything we could have asked for. The pool was nice, wifi worked, and the free hot breakfast was really good! Many choices for the... More

The rooms are large and have a small kitchen area should you wish to cater for yourself. I have stayed here about 5 times on business and found the rooms clean and well maintained - aircon in the room is a benefit. Breakfast is fine if a bit basic. Location is good and the hotel is fairly easy to find.... More

Stay here for 9 days under company expense. What i can comment, not that bad. Just that the room service is not that good. They don't really clean the kitchen. Either than that, the breakfast was good.. They have waffle, cereal, scramble egg, potatoes and breads.. An American breakfast.. For the laundry, they have a self service laundry cost you... More

I stayed in this hotel for two nights while I was traveling back and forth to Boston Children's Hospital. There was a mix up with the rooms, where we were supposed to receive a handicapped accessible room and didn't. My roommate called to request a tub shower with grab bars, not a roll in shower and that was taken to... More

Thank you for letting me know about the issues you experienced at the hotel. I am following up with the team to review your comments. I am so sorry about the misunderstanding of the accessible room our desk associate thought you did not need an accessible room when they asked about the roll in shower. Also the hotel has not... With an accommodating staff, free breakfast, luxurious rooms, and a good location, the North Shore Danvers Residence Inn is a great choice for those people interested in seeing what Salem, MA has to offer during their busiest hallmark of the year, Halloween. I expected busy, I didn't expect nigh-unwalkable streets. To say Salem gets packed at Halloween would be a... More

My husband and I stayed at this property 11/23-11/25/13. This property is in a great location off of I-95 with a TGIF next door and a Planet Fitness is across the street. If you go up the road you are near North Shore mall and a variety of restaurants. There is also a Starbucks located 1.5 miles away. Our room... More

Booked 2-nights to visit key towns in area. Convenient to all points from Salem-Newburyport. I disagree w/purpleurchin. Rooms were all redecorated last year; like brand-new. Bathroom was spotless...first place I look upon arrival. Trash cans in bathroom & fully-stocked kitchen. First time in "chalet-style" bldg., but it has RI's over-sized (450 sq ft) room. However, I do prefer suite vs.... More

I picked this hotel as it is one of only a few on US 1 coming up from Boston that has any restaurants within walking distance and I did not have a car; I was working with business associates during the day.. (Unfortunately for me one of those restaurants, a TGI Fridays was closed for the week for complete renovations).... More

Thank you for your positive comments regarding the hotel. I do believe I spoke with you at check in regarding the closure of TGI Friday's for 4 days during their renovation. It is fortunate that the hotel was serving a light dinner during those days. Our guests enjoy the hospitality nights. We certainly value your business. More

This hotel was a great last night of a long trip. The staff was great, the upgrade was very welcome and the price was perfect. Usually the breakfasts at this type of hotel are limited... not here full on breakfast buffet. The location is great for last minute shopping before we headed back to Europe. Nothing fancy just great.
