We drove in from New Hampshire and planned to spend the following day traveling through Massachusetts, eventually ending up in Boston. I choose this hotel as it was near Boston, but much more affordable than Boston and the immediate surrounding area. The staff at the front desk was not extra friendly, but they got the job done. They did inform... More

Arrived around 4PM waited many minutes in line prob r/t new person at the desk. A man from Maine cut in front of us to get his reservation acknowledged; I said "we have reservations too!" We were ignored. When our turn came up the other person waited on us, asked to see the credit card which I went back to... More

For how much we paid and hearing some not so flattering stories about a recent shooting that happened here, we came in with very low expectations. However, these were way off mark and it must be said we felt entirely secure and comfortable! The cleanest motel I have been in by far and a very warm and cordial atmosphere. Also,... More

This was an affordable retro motel. Plenty of parking. Pull right up to your door and unload the kids and the car. Convenient to Concord and Salem (30 min), as well as Rt 128. Close to the road yet very quiet at night. The TV has cable (not flatscreen) and we had a mini fridge and microwave, which cut down... More

I stayed at the Knights Inn because it was closest, cheapest and the only motel with rooms for 5 people near Salem, Mass for Halloween. I have stayed at the same motel 2 years ago and not much has changed. Everything looks ancient and badly needs updated but the bathroom and beds were clean. Surprisingly, the mattresses seemed pretty new... More

I have stayed in this hotel for the last 3 years, as I make a yearly pilgrimage to a nearby town. I must say that my stay has gotten better each year. The only thing I didn't like was the moisture of the bathroom floor. I was given a handicap room, which was fine, but there wasn't a shower enclosure,... More

We stayed here one night as it seemed somewhere which was reasonably priced near Salem which was a 20 min drive away. The rooms were really spacious and the king bed was huge. The breakfast was good considering it's a basic motel chain, there was a selection of cakes/pastries, bagels & cereals. The only downsides was that the air con... More

Just about the cheapest accommodations you'll be able to find near Salem in October. The place seems vaguely like something from the Twilight Zone, (I kept expecting wizened old men to appear and give me needful things which would end up being cursed) so bonus points for atmosphere. Rooms and the buildings definitely show their age, but are bigger than... More

It was like being out in the country but we were close to Boston and Salem. At affordable prices for us, the rooms and hotel have furniture American by Martinsville, beautiful and great quality. The rooms have beautiful old pine woodwork. The grounds are perfectly manicured. Some wear and tear is evident but overall the hotel is kept as nicely... More

Don't stay i room 214! Bed bugs got my daughter there! Got advised to ask there by Motel6 because they were fully booked. The overall impression wasn't bad. Rooms seemed clean, just needed a bit of airing out, but at the end of the following day the bites became visible and my daughter had a pretty bad allergic reaction to... More
