This was the most discusting motel i have ever slept in. the room stunk of something that i could not recognize. the bedding in our non smoking room was covered in cigarette burns. the "newly renovated" room was overall discusting, so much so that my wife and i slept in our car instead of the room we paid for. the... more

Absolutely the nastiest hotel I've ever stayed in!! I reserved 2 rooms over a month in advance. I was told the rooms would be connecting, but upon check-in they put us on 2 separate floors. The hallway on the first floor smelled like a farm, i guess because of all the loose dogs the live-in tenants have running around at... more

Stayed there to visit Salem. Hotel is usually nice, but this time around the bathroom had been used before we got there and the light was broken. Did not get fixed for a couple days. But all in all trip was great. Visiting history is always interesting more

My wife and I have been staying at this hotel every year for about 5 years now because of its affordable prices and proximity to Salem's "Haunted Happenings". Every year we have issues with the hotel (last year our toilet overflowed and the desk staff refused to send someone up or give us a plunger without an ID card) but... more

the towels had hair on them...the blankets felt dirty...when you turned the faucet on to take a shower all kinds of black stuff came up from the drain and the water did not drain down...Lots of people were going back to the desk to get more towels or cleaner towels...the lobby was uninviting...when I complained in the morning at checkout... more

My wife and I booked 2 rooms for us and our 3 kids. In the course of one nights' stay we witnessed kids having sex in the pool, a drug deal, a gang member who was shaking and sweating from some type of drug, numerous fights and drunk gangsters running around and vomit that happened sometime around 11 and was... more

You get what you pay for is the fitting statement for Motel 6. The most aggrevating issue were the towels. Each night upon returning to our room, we were forced to go down to the office and ask for another set of towels, since we were left with only 1 set each time room service would clean our room. The... more

I stayed there this past weekend. the room seemed clean, basic, a little disappointing as it had no refrigerator. At 3 am I woke up because I felt something crawling on me. I turned on the light and found no less than 10 bedbugs on me, my clothes and the beds. Bedbugs were also in my luggage, my bookbag and... more

The only problem with this Motel 6, that I found, was that it is on the Northbound side of Route 1, and getting southbound to reach Boston and environs is a little tricky (one-way, have to make cloverleaf exits to get back around to the Southbound). It is just a little ways up from the I-95 -- in terms of... more

Pretty standard Motel 6. It DOES have a nice, very chlorinated pool. The rooms were noisy (then again, so were we =) as if the walls were paper thin. Rooms are very large and spacious though, decent bathrooms with good showers. All in all, it was a standard Motel 6. Clean rooms, braindead desk staff. Affordable (but not overly so).... more
