Stayed here for a few nights on a visit to the area. We've stayed at other hotels before but decided to give this one a try. The rooms were clean and were nice enough but you could hear everything happening in the halls and rooms surrounding. The breakfast was nothing special but they did have a large assortment of cereals,... More

This place had full kitchen which would be nice for a family. The bed was very comfortable. nice decor, and very clean. Had a big desk for those on a business trip. Breakfast was included but the room was a bit tight. It was also convenient to the highways.

For a weekend in Salem this was a great value. The two bedroom suite also had a pull-out couch so plenty of room for everyone. Breakfast was provided in the morning, nothing fancy but something for everyone. It was a very easy trip into Salem from here, and it gave us plenty of other options for dining and shopping as... Booked one night in this hotel for the wedding in Salem (20 minutes drive) directly on the Marriott website using my member’s points. During my booking kindly asked for an early check-in (I knew that it’s not guaranteed) explaining that this formal wedding starts at 4 pm and we would be driving from NY that day, so we would need... We arrived on Halloween evening for two nights while visiting family. Our visit had nothing to do with Halloween, but apparently many of the guests were there for festivities in Salem. This was also the night after the Red Sox defeated Cardinals in Game #6 of the World Series. I bring this up, because housekeeping was way behind. The first... More

TownPlace Suites is by and far the best dollar value for anyone wanting to visit Salem, the surrounding communities with day trips to Maine and New Hampshire. The hotel is relatively not very pricey. Just paid $118 per night, (senior discount). This hotel has just been renovated and it is really nice. Nice breakfast as well. Free. The rooms are... More

Where do I begin..... The rooms are super small, with a funny smell. It smells like a mix of bad food, and cigarettes. Although the cleaning ladies were extremely kind....they did not do there job properly at all. Some days it looked as if they just made the best (without even changing sheets) They do not seem to care about... More

We stayed for 10 days and overall was a very nice experience. The "housekeeper" was exceptional!!!---Her name is Christine Hernandez--she went above and beyond and made us feel extremely welcome!!! On the other hand---the woman who worked in the breakfast area was the exact opposite and EXTREMELY obnoxious. I am told her name is Noemi. She was VERY LOUD and... More

We stayed here this past weekend. The hotel itself was really nice - large studio room - full amenities including a kitchenette. The only problem was that when we entered there was a really stagnant smell in the room. We immediately turned on the air conditioning and while we were in the room the smell went away or we got...
