My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in October. We chose this hotel because we considered it a good location for where we wanted to visit and convenient for getting into Boston and much less expensive than trying to find somewhere in Boston, especially at this time of year. The hotel was indeed in a good location, easy... more

We stayed here one night on our Boston/Salem trip. The hotel was very clean. The bed was comfy. It is a short drive to Salem and Boston! Overall, no complaints here! more

Stayed at this Comfort Inn with my sister while we were spending the weekend in the Salem/Boston area. Room was basic but perfectly clean, comfortable, and actually larger than I expected. The building seems a bit dated and worn in some ways, but it was quiet and a good location for our purposes (30 min drive to the Alewife T... more

I am amazed at the amount of good reviews for this hotel, This hotel was very gross and run down, the room we got on level 1 smelled, the halls ways near the indoor pool smelled like a high amount of chlorine fumes and did not look clean at all, tv's are very old, bedspreads were in need of replacement!... more

I booked this hotel because it has an outdoor pool, however upon checkin I was notified that the pool was out of order. Apparently it was being cleaned, which seems like poor planning, given that it was a Sat in August. I decided to stay anyway and proceeded to my room which was not nice at all, complete with multiple... more

Mary Young, the front office manager, was a GEM! She was very helpful in hooking us up with our whale watching adventure and ferry getting us to Boston. The room was spacious and clean. We ended up staying a second night. If only we could take her and the room with us on the last leg of our vacation. more

We used a coupon and got great value for the room, although a roll-away cot was an extra $15. The hotel is a bit smelly - maybe cigarette smoke or something and it's worn. We were dissapointed the inside pool was 'closed for maintenance' but the outside pool was warm and fun enough. The included breakfast made the deal even... more

The nice guy at the reception desk told us this property has been renovated within the last year, but it could use new sheets (stain on my pillowcase, hole in the bedspread) and maintenance on the pool. To be fair, XC Travelers point out there are two pools, one out one inside, but the inside one was down for the... more

Stayed here for one night, the hotel seems a little dated. We had a large room on the top floor, but there was no fridge or microwave. Did use the hotels computer, which also has seen better days and the Internet speed was extremely slow compared to some others that I had used over the past 2 weeks. Looking at... more
