My stay at the Josiah Sampson House was spectacular. From the moment I drove to the front door, I knew that I would be taking a step back into the ambiance of old Cape Cod. Richard and his little dog greeted us at the door. The rooms are beautifully restored, each with a private bath. There is air conditioning as... more

My husband and I decided to spend some time on Cape Cod following our son's graduation from Dartmouth College. Graduation was wonderful but hectic...by the time we arrived at the Josiah Sampson we were exhausted. Our hosts were wonderful! They gave us tips about the best beaches. My favorite beach was a small intimate beach just down the street. We... more

The Josiah Sampson House in Cape Cod is one of the most special places I've ever visited. The beautifully restored Victorian house is part of the National Register of Historic Places, and is elegant, quaint and comfortable. The surroundings look like a movie set with perfectly manicured lawns, huge maple trees, a gazebo in the backyard to sit and enjoy... more

As a single female business traveler I visit the Cape often. I prefer b&b's to hotels and motels, and quite honestly this part of Cape Cod between Falmouth and Hyannis isn't loaded with options. I stumbled across the Josiah Sampson House with a web search and read their many terrific reviews and decided to give it a try. I was... more

I spent a wonderful weekend on cape cod at the inn. The house was elaborately decorated for Christmas. I felt cared for and pampered. The gourmet breakfast was to die for. Richard was hospitable and even sent me the web sites related to cooking. I look forward to staying there again, and meeting Joseph more

it´s not just the beautiful house, it´s the innkeepers that make this b&b unique. from the freshly cooked gourmet breakfast (everyday a different delicious dish) to the weather forecast every evening and the little things you might have forgotten on the trip (eg toothbrush, razor etc), these two more than friendly guys think of everything. overall, you dont feel like... more

This is truly a great B&B. Wonderful food, tremendous hospitality and comfortable rooms. The staff went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that my husband and I had a great stay there on our honeymoon in Cape Cod. They shared recipes, printed directions and helped us plan daily outings. In a word, Richard and Joe are... more

We enjoyed a two night stay at Josiah Sampson House B&B that was beyond our expectations. The new owners made us feel very welcomed when we arrived. The house has the rich historical feel that is the essence of the Cape. Our room was the Rose Room. It was decorated in a classic elegant style and it made quite the... more

Our stay at the Josiah Sampson House was very enjoyable. The hosts were welcoming and accommodating. We found their recommendations of restaurants and activities very helpful. The room was spacious, clean, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The breakfasts were delicious! It was one of the best B&Bs we have stayed in. This was our second stay at Josiah Sampson Inn. The new innkeepers have enthusiastically embraced their role with their own warmth and personal touch. From the wonderful breakfasts to the cozy rooms and attention to service, we were never disappointed. Located in a beautiful part of the Cape, the inn is a winner on every level. We wouldn't stay anywhere... more
