We have been to Chatham many times and have always wanted to try the Wayside Inn but for whatever reason have ended up elsewhere( Bradford, Chatham Bars Inn, Cranberry, etc.) in the past. I don't want this to sound like a negative review because that's not the intent. It's just there were a couple of issues to note. My sense... More

My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. We asked for an upgrade and were moved to a gorgeous room with a king size bed and beautiful fireplace. Mark went out of his way to make sure we had a special weekend. We spent some time at the Goose (the Inn's in-house restaurant), specifically at the bar. Bobby and Hopeton... More

This Inn and I specify INN is charming and well appointed. This is not a hotel so there is no room service or other amenities you expect in a hotel. People need to remember the difference between Inn and Hotel! It is lovely inside and the staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. There is a continental breakfast downstairs and the... More

Excellent location for our annual holiday stroll. You can spend some money in their bar and restaurant but there is always Squires Pub across the street if you wanted to have other choices. Rooms are very comfortable.

We upgraded to a nicer room and it had a nice view of the yard and a nice balcony. The room had windows on 2 sides which greatly enhances a room. It is centrally located on Main Street and great for walking around town. There was lots of parking for the inn. I had inquired about the driving distance to... More

If this wasn't the off season (literally bordering on a ghost town) the inn would be the perfect location to start & end a day. It is a short walking distance to shops & restaurants. The staff was friendly & courteous. The room was clean & comfortable. The one negative was the heating system and its noisy fan. Everytime it... More

We loved our long weekend stay at the Chatham Wayside! Everyone was so friendly, the atmosphere was cozy and relaxing and the Wild Goose has the best cod dinner! The room (208) was overlooking Main St and was very clean and had everything we needed. Teeny tiny issue that sounds a little silly but the sink in the bathroom is... More

Our family stayed at the Wayside Inn in mid November. It's location is terrific - right in the center of Chatham. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Continental breakfast was OK - nothing special. Found the rates a bit pricey for off-season. The restaurant is passable - nothing extraordinary about the menu, as it doesn't... More

This hotel was wonderful. It was very clean, quiet, nicely decorated and up to date. Breakfast was okay not over abundant but okay. We wish we could have stayed longer in Chatham and definitely would stay at this hotel again. Be sure to go down to the beach to watch the sunrise! It was as lovely as the hotel was!

We stayed at the Chatham Wayside Inn in mid October. It was excellent! Our room was always clean . It was well appointed with excellent views of the property. Our room had several windows and a large sitting area. In the evenings we warmed ourselves with the gas fireplace. We loved being able to have dinner on the property- if... More
