It's an old inn with with sturdy construction (not creaky) and with contemporary furnishings and decorations. The staff is friendly. The tea and snack (pumpkin cheesecake) available in the dining room after check-in (at 3:00 pm) was a nice touch, with an extra room also open for sitting. Our room on the second floor was quiet with a queen sized... More

The new Inn at 359 Main feels like a completely different place than the Cranberry Inn. Gone is all the charming old furniture and ambiance. But the new look is also very pleasing and relaxing. The service was good and the people are pleasant. Breakfast was basic but good, and the afternoon tea snacks were delicious! The rates were reasonable... More

My wife and I have been celebrating our anniversary here for the past four years. There are new owners who have made some changes; some for the better, some not. The inn was renamed to "The Inn at 359 Main." The decor has been modernized from traditional New England to something described as "Coastal chic." Not sure what that is... More

Lovely ambiance, but not the warm and hospitable experience I'd hoped for....No one to help with the bags, awkward room set-up, no communication about the type of breakfast being served (we loaded up on fruit and yogurt and we were not told there were eggs about to be served until we had been eating for a while.) We were attending... More

Before I write my review, I would prefer to let everyone who is considering staying at this inn to "THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING". Our experience at this inn was unpleasant to say the least. First, when we arrived at the inn it took forever for someone to check us in at the front desk. This became an ongoing problem during... More

Just returned from a great "girls" overnite at this Inn. It was beautiful. The outside of the Inn is quaint cape cod inn. The inside was perfect. The Inn is old but the decor is upscale beechy modern. Our suite was huge with a loft, fireplace and deck. The staff was very friendly. They offer a plentiful breakfast with fresh... More

The Cranberry Inn is in a perfect location in Chatham and the price is right. You can walk to the wonderful Lighthouse Beach and then to the Main Street restaurants and shops. The bike path is close by. The decor is light and perfect for a "Cape' get away. The bathroom, while very clean was a bit outdated, but the... More

My family loves the breakfast the inn served and enjoyed our stay very much. Chatham is a lovely town based on our Hostess recommendation, we enjoyed the Bicycling, visited the light house at the corner, had a great dinner at the impudent oyster chatham

After having just stayed at the Cranberry Inn in August, we were disappointed that the decor of the rooms that were shown online did not at all represent what the new owners have done. The lobby area, and breakfast area are newly remodeled, but the rooms were more like a cottage than what is advertised as a luxury Inn. What... More

Last fall we made a deposit at the Cranberry for a two bedroom suite for three nights to attend a family wedding in Chatham in July. In late spring the inn's new owners contacted us to say that due to renovations our suite was no longer available and we would be sharing a room with a sleep sofa with our... More
