We were in town visiting family and stayed overnight. Very comfortable beds and cozy room. Enjoyed a relaxing breakfast talking with other guests. Vera is so pleasant and friendly. Met her son, daughter in law and grandsons. Nice family atmosphere and Cape Cod charm. Would highly recommend!

A family operated establishment full of charm and community. Breakfast in the morning is an amazing experience, you get to share a cup of coffee with other travelers and discuss plans and recommendations. The rooms are full of charm and are incredibly clean. The deck is a great place to sit and read or relax. Walking distance from various restaurants... More

I returned last year to the Bow Roof House after an absence of many years since I stayed there several times over a four year period some 30 years ago, and have just made a second repeat visit this September 2014. The appeals of this charming establishment remain unchanged - except the building has been updated somewhat. The interior is... More

Inside and out the house is shabby and old fashioned; no one there to greet us initially and the bedroom allocated had a large pillar through the centre and no where comfortable to sit. En suite was in a very small cupboard. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room or available downstairs. We felt this was not the... More

We couldn't have wanted for more at this charming, historic house. Vera, the owner, is a fantastic, accommodating host. Bow Roof House is very clean and we had an enormous bed. Breakfast is a chatty affair. Situated a few moments from the centre of beautiful Chatham, this made an excellent base from which to explore the Cape and the islands.

I found this B and B the best that I've ever stayed at in Chatham. The rooms are very clean and nice. The beds are very comfortable also! There is a TV in the Living room that is open all the time, there is also a patio outside with a great breeze and spot. The breakfast is good and Vera's... More

The Bow Roof House is one of my favorite places I have ever stayed and I will stay there whenever I visit Chatham for the rest of my life or as long as it stays open, whichever happens first! It is run by a smart, kind, and sassy Grandma named Vera and she will tell you great stories. That alone... More

Stayed there last summer with my husband when we were desperate to find last minute accommodation in the cape. It was one of the only options left and also one of the cheapest one (100USD a night high season). We decided to give it a try but were a bit apprehensive... What a great surprise! Old style captain house, old... More

This is b&b offers an excellent atmosphere and value for money. Rooms are clean and confortable. The price are very reasonable for the location and it is run by a very friendly old woman. The breackfast table offer the possibility of interesting conversations and the small patio outside a great location for an evening chat. In short on of the... More

This guest house is run by Grandma Vera with a little help from her family. The rooms are immaculately clean, good sized and in the original colonial style. It is one of the closest guest houses to the town centre, without the top end price tag. Breakfast was ample - bagel/english muffin, fresh fruit, fruit juice, tea/coffee. We were so... More
