We liked being close to the bike path to go towards downtown and within biking distance to Hardings Beach. The motel was a great price--we got a 30% "early bird" spring discount off the entire rate. My mother and I just spent Mothers Day Wknd at The Chatham Motel, what a pleasant surprise!!! Both the room and grounds were very neat and clean, with a convenient location... All for such a reasonable price ! Though without many bells and whistles of their higher priced competitors... I would still recommend it to anyone looking for a nice... More

“Affordable, clean and quiet...”

We were recently at this motel for two weekend nights and had an excellent experience. Staff was friendly and accommodating (we had a minor issue that was tended to swiftly) room was pristine and the grounds were nicely tended. Best part is it's so close to the downtown area and the beachfront...very enjoyable late summer visit.

Date: August 18th 12:15 PM We used this motel for some of our wedding guests. We had to deliver a basket for one of our guests and found the woman behind the desk to be extremely rude and unhelpful. It was shocking. We would not use this motel again.

Based on the positive recommendations I read on Trip Advisor I decided to take a chance on staying at this unfamiliar motel and was very happy to see that the other recommendations were spot on. If you are looking for clean linens, affordable price and a good place to sleep, the Chatham Motel is it. Beds were very comfortable and room was good sized & clean.
