This Inn is a gem. My daughter and I traveled to Chatham to do some Christmas shopping and have a quick getaway together. Regretably, we stayed for only one night, but next next time we'll plan to stay longer. Our room was lovely, with a working fireplace, beautiful linens, a plate of fresh fruit left on the dresser for our... more

Our stay at the Captains House Inn was very nice. They do not omit any details - everything you need is there. All you have to do is pack your clothes. The rooms are spotless and the staff is outstanding. They are very friendly and make you feel right at home. I love getting coffee served to me in the... more

Owners Jill and Jeff, and their staff were very accomodating. Made good recommendations for dinner and site seeing. Also took care of our reservations for dinner. Breakfast was very good every morning. There were always several items to choose from and all we tried were excellent. more

This Inn is just the place if you are looking for a lovely, quiet, beautiful yet comfortably furnished enclave. The breakfasts and afternoon teas were particularly delicious, served in a cheery, bright, sun-lit room. The Inn keepers were very friendly and welcoming, and made a point to personally meet, greet guests, and serve guests to be sure that we had... more

This review comes after our fourth stay at the Captain's House Inn. The Inn welcomes you in the afternoon with tea and scones. It is served daily and is a subtle pleasure that we relished. The rooms are beautiful, clean and have all the amenities you would expect of an upscale inn. Fire places in the rooms we have stayed... more

We spent 3 nights at the Captain's House Inn. Everything was better than we expected. The staff were extremely hospitable and very eager to please. They were very willing to make dinner reservations and suggested some very good restaurants. The Inn is a beautiful property. It is well maintained and the rooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated. The breakfasts and... more

Our whole experience was positive. The B&B is beautifully maintained, the staff pleasant and helpful. The extra treats like tea and goodies in the afternoon, and more treats in the room and in the evening were much appreciated. The location is ideal since it is about mid-way on the Cape, which allows for easy day trips and access to many... more

Booked the Captain's House Inn Lydia Harding suite at the beginning of October to elope on October 24th. With short notice, they had everything set up from the Justice of the Peace, the flowers, cake, dinner reservations. The suite was immaculate and very inviting and romantic. The sitting room (where the ceremony took place) had a couch and fireplace as... more

Everything about Captains House was perfect. The rooms were beautiful. The staff was freindly, effcient and accomodating. The high tea was the best experience of our vacation. My parents stayed there twice, my sister and her husband three times, and we are now part of the fan club. I can reccommend without reservation. Bill more

Don't even thing about booking someplace more expensive. My husband and I have stayed all over the world at high end hotels yet the Captain's House Inn surpassed our expectations in every way. It was utterly utterly charming and every single detail was attended to. The rooms were tasteful and immaculate (complete with free water, juice and snacks) the afternoon... more
