We weren't looking to stay at The Hilton Hotel and wanted a simple, comfortable, and clean room for a couple nights. Playground/Jungle Gym, Volleyball Court, Horse Shoes, Fire Pit, and Outdoor Pool are all on the premisis. In my room was an AC unit, bathroom, mini fridge, Microwave, TV, 2 full beds, dressers, and night stand. If youre looking for... More

old style motel. very clean and quiet. the owners went out of their way to make sure everything was o.k.pool was clean but had no stairs with railing for me to get in and out. I have cancer and losing my leg strength so could not use the ladders. the only problem I had was it did not have a... More

Great value for the money. Chain hotels are double the price. This motel was clean and very convenient to rafting. The kids had a great time in the pool, and then played horseshoes. The building is older (the bathroom door didn't line up to close quite right), but the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised that... More

I remembered the long ago time of travel before the freeways forced many of these popular motels out of business. This is one, owned by the Giovannis and well kept, clean and affordable. We came here when looking for a place to stay near the Deerfield River Rafting mecca. The outdoor pool was an added attraction for the kids, though... More

Great value for the money. Situated in a beautiful area with a nice pool, playground and very close to the river. The family owning the place is very helpful and friendly. Close to ski area, river rafting and right on the Mohawk trail.

Great place to stay in Charlemont. Close to rafting on the Deerfield in summer, and skiing in the winter. Good pool in summer, clean. Owned and opeaterated by friendly local family, well priced. I recommend if you like a more personal experience and clean, modest accomodations.

Great people, and very helpful. Specifically, I had forgotten some items in my room and they took the time to follow up to confirm the address and mail them back to me. The room was bright and the sheets clean. Prices were reasonable. Good information was available about local attractions.

Before deciding to stay at the Red Rose Motel, ask yourself this: Q: "How do I feel about 1950s roadside motels?" Multiple Choice: A. Kitschy charm is so retro and fun! It's like traveling back in time! B. I don't really care, as long as the room is relatively clean and not too pricey. C. 1950s motel rooms are fine... More

The motel is an adequate stopover while touring the Mohawk Trail and Shelburne Falls. During our one-night stay, it was clear that it was perfect lodging location for Deerfield River kayakers. The staff was very friendly throughout the reservation, check-in, and checkout process. The grounds included what looked like a nice swimming pool and a volley ball court. Our two-bed... More
