The room assigned to us was unsafe (open hall corridor window accessible by anyone, inoperable smoke alarm), unclean (dirty bed linens), loud (over the bar with live band playing), and we had to walk through the parking lot with "bar patrons" who had obviously been drinking. Front desk clerk didn't offer any alternatives or help to address any of our concerns, basically "take it or leave it" attitude, so we opted to not stay since it wasn't clean or safe. What happened to the advertised New England hospitality?!? We'll never go back to this one, never ever. Horrible experience for first time in Mass.
