We stayed in one of the most beautiful sites, #061, right on the water. We loved the location as far as the view and proximity to the water! It was a huge site, set above the water, with stairs leading down to the water below it. We were there during the week, and had a handful of folks walk through... More

My family and I have camped at Nickerson State Park many times. We have NEVER been disappointed. Our site had a little trail leading down to the beach and it was almost our little section which was cool. We have had our cousins visit for a day and they loved it to. BTW the ponds are clear and beautiful!

So many people had raved about the camping at Nickerson, so we were excited to take our nephews there for the long October holiday weekend. We had a great time, but the camp sites were not what we were expecting. They were all right on the road...a car's length away - and we were at one of the better sections... More

Thank goodness for the kind family next to us that helped us put up our tent otherwise we would have been in our van. site was ok. near water. had to drive to showers which were yucky. but i guess that is... Don't miss out on enjoying the park. Even during the peak 4th of July season, there are many quiet corners to explore. There is equipment available to rent, and this is a low budget day. The staff is very helpful, so don't be shy!

For nearly 10 years my family has summered on the cape and we had never made it to Nickerson until this year. It is wonderful! Hiking trails, ponds, swimming, camping, boating and beautiful surroundings! We will be back!!

We first went there and couldn't find where to park so we asked the staff, turns out they were really nice! We went canoeing and biking, it was a great adventure. I highly recommend to go here when visiting the cape

This park is huge! Our site was 3 miles in from the road but some are closer. Didn't bother us and our site was nice and shaded and private. We stayed in area 7, site 1. Water and toilets where close by but we had to drive to area 6 for a shower block. No big deal, usually washed on... More

Considering you pay to camp here you do get your money's worth in the size of your campsite and scenery - but is it really so much for someone to turn on a hose on in the bathroom to wash away the daily build-up of human feces and urine? Really, it's disgusting. I do realize that it's mostly the fault... More
