We stayed at Ocean Edge for 3nights in June. The photos on their web site all show the beatiful ocean side mansion. We (and the vast majority of guests) were put at their other location, 1.5 miles away and nowhere near the ocean. They advertised a full kitchen. However, the utensils and pots and pans were of low end Wal-Mart... more

Be very leary on how this place finds a way to keep your depost.. NOWHERE on the website is the policy posted that you must cancel in 14 days or the HOTEL keeps ALL of your money. I cancelled my reservation with a 8 day notice and they kept 100% of my depost; which was $210.00. Once you make your... more

Because I got our hotel through hotwire, I won't complain too much. This is certainly not be worth the $200+ per night they are asking on regular websites. Regardless of the rate, you still have to pay $18 resort fee PLUS $4 per night parking. What we stayed in were really more like a time-share condo that was available, which... more

We took our parents on a quick vacation out to Cape Cod for the weekend. We had gotten two rooms, not knowing what to expect. We had 2 condos - it was a very good amount of space for the 4 us. There was a double bed and a sofa bed in the living room. There was a full kitchen... more

The other reviewers were right. No more beach access for people staying at the village side and $4 per day self parking.. We stayed over Memorial Day weekend which means the village side has just opened. The friendly summer staff from Europe have not arrived yet. Britterige bike rental not open, Reefs Cafe not open for lunch, etc. My kids... more

I write this review from my room at the Ocean Edge Resort- and while we checked in roughly six hours ago, I have not yet overcome my disbelief! My husband and I decided to spend a night on Cape Cod while in town for my college reunion, and chose the Ocean Edge Resort primarily for its direct access to a... more

The drama free report is: - Service was good. The staff was nice and helpful when they could be. The maid service was fine and keeps the place looking good overall. - Food at the hotel as ok. Nothing you haven't had at any other hotel though. - The grounds are beautiful. - Rooms - the rooms were disappointing. We... more

we decided to stay local and visit the cape, after canceling our trip to cancun as result of the swine flu outbreak. The Ocean Edge was highly rated and had a fantastic off-season deal ($99/night for a 1 BR villa that includes a kitchen). the downside to the off-season is that only 1 of their 6 restaurants were open, and... more

I'll start by admitting to some bias after our stay at Ocean's Edge. When we arrived to collect the key for our one bedroom villa I asked if there was an ocean view from it. No, was the reply but if I wanted I could forgo a living room and kitchenette for a 'hint' of a view in an oversized... more

I went on-line and thought "this will be a great resort to stay in". We booked a condo, but it is not near the mansion, so no services right nearby. You have to drive to everything. The condo is not like the pictures on-line. It is just ok, but the patio was dirty and we could not use it. The... more
