My husband and I just returned from the Ruddy Turnstone Inn and can say without a doubt, that it is the most fabulous retreat ever. The grounds are impeccable and the view from our suite was breathtaking both day and night. Our room was meticulously stocked with all of the necessities for a perfect vacation. Coffee, a small refrigerator, wine... More

This small inn is a true retreat off of a normally busy Brewster route. They don't advertise but I saw on trip advisor the amazing reviews leading me to reserve a room. There are only three available and we stayed in the Bay Room which I believe to be the very best. It's set apart from all the others making... More

The property and the view were beautiful. "The Cottage' was very quaint and cozy. We had everything we needed, including beach chairs, and an umbrella. We had breakfast every morning on our deck overlooking the marsh, very peaceful and relaxing..... Brent was very helpful with info on the area and great places to eat. We're glad we finally found a... More

Although it's right on Route 6A, we felt as though we had entered the countryside, and the 18th century, when we turned into the driveway of the Ruddy Turnstone. We stayed in "The Suite," which had a very spacious full-size living room (with kitchenette) and bedroom, all straight out of the Colonial era. The views through the marsh to the... More

I rented all the 3 rooms at the Ruddy Turnstone Inn as a place for some of my guests and for myself to get ready for my wedding in Dennis and I am so happy I did. Brent and Abigail are such a sweet couple and they were very accommodating. ALL rooms are super clean, well decorated and the grounds... More

Wouldn't think it would be able to get any better, but the grounds, and the Rooms look fantastic, the upkeep is always perfect, a little new paint in the main room and a bit of furniture configuration, make the Ruddy turnstone a fantastic getaway. Our hosts Brent and Abigail as always, delightful and available for any need that may arise.... More

We returned to this special hideaway only to find that it got even better! The plantings and backyard marsh setting with bountiful birds provided the much needed escape we craved and it was wonderful to see the friendly, hospitable, innkeepers once again! If you are looking for a terrific value in a convenient location on the Cape, this is it.... More

I stumbled on The Ruddy Turnstone while searching the internet for a weekend getaway for my wife and I for our 15th anniversary. The Tripadvisor reviews, 24 of 24 results rating excellent, was a big factor in researching the Turnstone further. Leaving our 3 boys for the weekend, we were looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway. I exchanged a... More

Since we live in Colorado and are mountain people by inclination, we do not get to the East Coast that often. The Ruddy Turnstone Inn could make us change our minds. This was a restful and refreshing place to stay. Our room, with its own private entrance and deck, was spacious and well-equipped. It is centrally located on the Cape... More
