Wow, I went here with my family over the summer of 2013, and it was pretty impressive. I have lived in Massachusetts my whole life, and I have sadly never been to Cape Cod for any reason. We go camping every August, for about a week as a family trip, specifically places around New England. We finally decided to come... More

My husband and I stayed here for four nights in a pop-up trailer with our two dogs. We had a lovely campsite within easy walking distance of the bathing facilities. The bathrooms were always clean. The camp store was great, as we only had a cooler (no fridge) so ice was a daily purchase. They had good hot coffee in... More

My four children and I stayed for a month here. My husband would join us on weekends. The sites are private and spacious. The kids loved bike riding, mini golf and the playgrounds. We also enjoyed the lake. While others complained about quiet hours we found the rules were very clearly stated. Our site was right near both owners. Some... More

Our site was of a good size very private and very quiet, over all we had a good weekend and we would go back again. Our only concern was that the bathroom was closed for cleaning every night at 10 pm and two nights in a row we had to wait 20 minutes to use it and many other had... More

Just came back from 3-night camping trip to Sweetwater Forest with a large group of friends, we were all families with kids. Overall it was fun, however.... Website leads you to believe that you have a pond to swim in - WRONG! You can fish there but there is no swimming anywhere at the campground! Also, the playgrounds could use... More

We have stayed at many campgrounds across America over the years, but we have never found any that exceeds Sweetwater Forest in its serenity, comfort, cleanliness, and friendliness. Unlike so many others, its campsites are well spaced in natural surroundings, not succumbing to the mindless "herring-bone" pattern that may bring in more money but exclude privacy. Activities for the family... More

This campground is amazing. Beautiful big sites, convenient and clean bath houses, super friendly staff, great playgrounds for the kids. We tented and the fire pit was great. We were only there for the weekend, but I will go back again for a longer stay.

We had The pleasure of staying at Sweetwater back in July! We love the serenity of this campground! Beautiful forest campground located on a secluded pond. You would never think you were on Cape Cod, we can't wait to go back over Columbus Day weekend!!

Myself, my wife, and another couple (tent) camped here for a weekend in July 2014. We've found camping to be an affordable way to spend overnight on the cape. We decided to get 2 campsites since we were told that 1 would cost the same with 4 people, but we really didn't need it. We parked the care at 1,... More
