We had The pleasure of staying at Sweetwater back in July! We love the serenity of this campground! Beautiful forest campground located on a secluded pond. You would never think you were on Cape Cod, we can't wait to go back over Columbus Day weekend!!

Myself, my wife, and another couple (tent) camped here for a weekend in July 2014. We've found camping to be an affordable way to spend overnight on the cape. We decided to get 2 campsites since we were told that 1 would cost the same with 4 people, but we really didn't need it. We parked the care at 1,... More

My family has been going here for years because of its friendly staff, family atmosphere, beautifully shaded sites set in a forest sited on a pond, location near the Cape Cod Rail Trail, National Seashore, Brewster Flats, and freshwater ponds. There is so much to do here in the area as well in the campground itself (including mini golf, canoeing,... More

I am writing this on our last day here, sitting at our camp site, listening to birds and the occasional bull frog. No one else is around and I am lovin' it. Yep it's rustic and "not modern". If you want crowds there are plenty of other places to stay on the Cape but I don't know a better way... More

I recently stayed at Sweetwater for 1 night while visiting the Cape for work. The office stay gave me a map of 3 sites, allowed me to drive thru and pick out tge one I wanted. All 3 would have been fine, I chose one with a little down hill driveway with a nice flat area for my tent. Once... More

I reserved a camping spot in the B area (no hookups) which is open only in the high season. I found the grounds to be pleasant and well maintained, with guests abiding by the code of conduct in place to ensure peaceful nights. Showers/restrooms were OK, I wasn't looking for luxury, so for camping I thought they were OK. I... More

We liked the campground. The staf is very friendly. They advised us on a great Wall watching Trip!! From here to Provincetown will take you roughly 1 hour. WIFI is only working close to the check in office / shop. Showers and restrooms are clean but a little but outdated. No laundry services. All in all a very nice campground... More

This campground was advertised something like "When you turn in the driveway you leave the noise of the Cape behind", they were not kidding. Very peaceful, staff was always helpful, all of the sites looked nice. We travel with a 28ft fifth wheel, at first glance of our site it looked interesting to get into due to all of the... More

We stayed here last week... Pros: -Pretty inexpensive for the area -They have a dog kennel for times when you want to go somewhere that you can't take the dog - and it's pretty cheap -Not too far of a drive to get to main attraction areas (Chatham, Orleans, Hyannis, maybe 45 minutes to Provincetown) -Very nice people working there... This campground is very well maintained, the bathrooms are clean, the staff is very helpful. The store has a great variety of equipment and food at reasonable prices. The tent sites are surrounded by trees and well spaced. Campers are well taken care of - staff circulates to make sure everything is going well. When a neighbour had a complaint... More
