Having left a filthy Super8 motel in search of a good nights rest at a cleaner hotel, our expectations were minimal. This hotel had it all! Price was less than what we had paid for the other room. The room was both beautiful and immaculate. There were plenty of amenities such as a snack area, a work out room, Internet... more

My boyfriend and I stayed in this Hotel for 2 nights, a Friday and Saturday, checking out on Sunday morning. The best thing about this hotel is it's location. Although it is on a road with like 4 other hotels and some shoddy buisnesses, it is only 20 minutes from Boston and there are many restaurants (including a TGI Fidays... more

This is the third time that I have stayed at the Braintree Candlewood Suites and I worried that it would have grown shabby and unkempt in the two year interval since I last saw it. Not to worry. It is clean, clean, clean, well equipped with everything necessary in the kitchen area for overnight, a week, or a month. The... more

We stayed for a week at the Candlewood suites at Braintree, south of Boston mainly to save money because of the cost of staying in Boston itself. We booked a suite which is basically a spacious room with Microwave, Fridge, Dishwasher and Stove facilities. The room was adequate and bathroom OK although the combination of large fridge and AC unit... more

While the bed was quite comfortable and I had a good night's sleep, the room had a strange odor that did not dissipate with turning on the A/C. Also, the shower appeared clean but upon entering, it also smelled of mildew, which was probably the shower curtain. The "Pantry" that they advertise had no bottled water stocked and appeared to... more

We chose this hotel to save a little money while visiting Boston. It is very easy to get to from the highway. We especially liked the kitchen, although one of the burners on the stovetop was broken (we weren't planning on using that anyway)... the other appliances were fine. The hotel is especially accommodating to guests who plan to stay... more

I stayed in a studio suite with a full fridge, sink, cook top, microwave, and dishwasher. The fridge was fairly loud and had a "squeak" to it. The room was pretty clean, but there were some bits of trash under the bed (yes, I looked!) that made me question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned. The sheets were obviously... more

When I was going to Boston, the rooms there were over $200 a night, so I opted to stay in Braintree. Braintree is about 30 minutes south of Boston on the train, for $4 roundtrip. The Candlewood was about 2 miles from the train station and I'm familiar with the chain. Check-in took a little long, but I got the... more

We called this hotel to make our reservation. The clerk was very harried -- so much so that he made several errors in our reservation, resulting in our booking a "non-cancellable, non-refundable" room for a night we never intended to be there. They were very unhelpful when we called to try to address this, claiming that we had made the... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel one night this month while in town for a birthday party. We searched online for an inexpensive room rate in a good neighborhood in the greater Braintree/Milton/Quincy area and were rewarded with a rate under $100 for a Saturday night stay at this hotel. With the location being so close to the... more
