Our family has been visiting the Lamb and Lion for nearly a decade and we've loved it each and every time. It's difficult to choose just a few "high-points" to include in a review but here goes: West Barnstable is quintessential Cape Cod - quaint and beautiful as all get out. The solar heated salt-water pool is delightful. The outdoor... More

I see Tom and/or Ali reply to many of these reviews and use this forum for both passive aggressively defending certain critiques of the Lamb and Lion Inn, but also plugging other positive reviews, mentioning upgrades, and generally disregarding any criticism with the gesture of a free night stay and more self promotion. To each their own. The veil of... More

YES! We do believe in self-promotion, that is correct. When you own your own business this is kind of an important thing. Regarding the room sizes & decor, they range tremendously in both categories, so if this guest was stuck with a room that wasn't large enough for his needs--well, not sure why they chose the room they chose. What... More

We found the Lamb & Lion Inn at the last minute through groupon, but didn't have to book it through groupon since tom gave it to us over the phone. It proved to be a wonderful experience from the homemade granola & yogurt to the wonderful salt water pool. Tom & Ali along with Eileen were most helpful in directing... More

My boyfriend and I decided to stay at the Lamb and Lion Inn after finding a Groupon deal for it. We called the Inn and Tom, one of the owners was nice enough to give us the room at the Groupon price without having to use the Groupon. Once we got there, we were upgraded to one of the bigger... More

My boyfriend and I just got back from a last minute, two night stay at the Lamb and Lion with our dog Samba and it was just what we were looking for! From the moment Ali answered the phone late on a Friday night to help secure our stay, to our good-bye to Tom at check-out, everything was just perfect.... More

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the Lamb and Lion in last week. I have to say that it was incredible. The room we stayed in was beautiful, exactly like the photo on their website showed. They had a beautiful, clean pool and nice hot tub for guest use. The owners were awesome! They were friendly and sooooooo... More

We recently returned to the Lamb and Lion Inn for a long anticipated weekend getaway. We had not been in a couple of years so we were so pleased to see that the only changes were positive ones! A new salt water pool in the courtyard and an assistant innkeeper Eileen! Tom and Ali do a spectacular job at making... More

My friends and I traveled to Cape Cod with my small dog and stayed at this Inn. It is located centrally making it easy to travel around the Cape. The owners were extremely friendly, and the rooms were cozy and comfortable. Every morning breakfast including homemade breads and muffins and yogurt were out to enjoy. My dog Barbie had plenty... THANK YOU!! I guess it's true...although we are first & foremost people friendly, we do love our visiting pooches, and many people love that we love 'em too! In 2013 CNN named our little inn "One of the top 12 best pet friendly destinations in the World" and Yankee Magazine just named us the #1 pet friendly destination in New... More

I don't write reviews because I've always had disappointments with properties in the past. Not here....we found our diamond in the rough. The Lamb and Lion Inn in Barnstable is by far the best place we've ever stayed at. I am talking exceptional. The location, the rooms, the amenities, the grounds are great, but what makes this place exceptional are... More

Well THAT is a great review--Short and veerry sweet! Yes, we'd like to think we are the best inn on Cape Cod. Are we really?? Hmmm, good question. We can tell you that our guest services & hospitality cannot be matched. We have been voted by Cape Cod Life readers poll as the "Best mid-Cape Inn/B&B from 2008 - 2014,... More
