this was a lovely place to stay. the innkeeper was very nice and the breakfast was excellent.(the lemonade and cookies were a very nice touch).the room was beautiful and comfortable.my only complaint would have to be that coffee was nowhere to be found until breakfast and only at breakfast and there was no place close by that you could purchase... We spent five nights at Beechwood on our first visit to Cape Cod. The Inn is in a great location making it easy to travel througout the Cape. Just a short drive (or 15 minute walk) are two restaurants that are really good and slightly further at Barnstable Harbour is another, also worth a visit. You can also take a... More

We've stayed at the Beechwood Inn for the last 13 (consecutive) years and wouldn't dream of spending either a Fourth of July, or Labor Day Holiday Weekend anywhere else! We absolutely love all the fun activities the Cape has to offer and Barnstable is ideally centrally located. The Beechwood Inn is welcoming, clean, comfy, cozy and charming. The hosts, Ken... More

Excellent B+B with wonderful hosts. Really made you feel at home. Some of the nice touches included rocking chairs on an expansive porch which allowed for privacy or spending time with fellow guests, lemonade in the afternoon, and hosts who loved to chat, but were not obtrusive. We stayed in the Cottage Room (we booked late and took what was... More

My husband and I spent one night at the Beechwood. Thank goodness we hadn't booked more than one night! Although the hosts were very hospitable and friendly, the inn leaves much to be desired. We stayed in the Marble Room, which was the original formal living room. The furniture in our room was antique, which was very pretty to look... More

Stayed at the Beechwood Inn and found the location in the town of Barnstable to be ideal, with good access to Hyannis (ferry to Martha's Vineyard & Nantucket), Dennis and Yarmouth and other towns in the mid-cape area. It's located right on Rt 6A (King's Highway) which has great access to the towns mentioned above and not too far from... More

We spent our (all too brief) honeymoon at Beechwood Inn, a wonderful cozy B&B in cape cod, and absolutely loved it! The owners, Ken and Debbie, are very hospitable and great to converse with. They have a fascinating background in the corporate world, and currently breed dogs (golden retrievers) in addition to running the B&B. So we spent a good... More

Debbie and Ken couldn't of been nicer. They made us feel so welcome. The room and breakfast were great. They were so helpful with suggestions of things to see and do, like the beautiful beaches that are a must see, even in winter.

Had a great November weekend at the Beechwood! Ken and Debbie are very friendly and welcoming. We chose the Lilac Room, which is definitely the room of choice! The lilac room has a gas fireplace, king bed, and both a bathroom with tub, and another room with a small shower. In addition, there is a twin bed in the annex... More

Lovely in so many ways - the only negative thing I would say is that while "vintage" is the theme here - some things are broken or stained and need to be replaced. Other than that - it's a gem and I would stay here again if I am ever on the Cape. The inn keepers are so friendly and... More
