Love love love this Inn! The inn is beautiful, our room (the Rose Room) was comfortable and luxurious, and the innkeepers made us feel like friends as well as guests. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the service was extraordinary. We hope to be able to go back soon; hated having to leave!

We were in Barnstable on a whale watching cruise (amazing!) and just stayed for one night. The owner, Julia, was very welcoming and friendly. The Inn is beautifully quaint and we stayed in the garret room which is quirky and cute. Breakfast was amazing and the bed was very comfy... Just what we needed when tired after a day on... More

We planned to stay for two nights in this B&B. Unfortunately, our booking via hotelplanner.com hadn't worked, so we could only stay for one night. Our host was very helpful in finding an other accomodation for the second night in the middle of peak season and even gave us a gift zertificate for a restaurant, although he obviously wasn't responsible... Arrived on the day that we reserved the Lilac Room only to find a dead bug in the wine glass, a dead bug on the bed and a spider walking across the bed after pulling down the top sheet. Called the owner and was told the room had just been fumigated. He stated his wife would be up after she... More

Beautiful grounds, lovely town and great hospitality sums up our stay at the Beechwood inn. The room was clean with the old world charm you would come to expect while staying in a house that was built in 1853. Breakfast was delicious each day accompanied by great conversations with the owners. Whenever we make it back to this part of... More

This place is old and beautiful, loved the decor. The staff is very nice and the breakfast was satisfactory. The beds were comfortable and the room was very nice....and clean. I love the old fashioned feel of the place

Booked a room here on relatively short notice, arrived to find that the property had accidentally oversold itself. While management was apologetic, they initially did nothing to help me find an alternative place to stay (something a hotel is obliged to do if they overbook a guest). When prompted they suggested a few places (that were not helpful as these... More

Unfortunately this traveler had booked through an outside booking agency, on a friday night at 6:30pm for the next day. I had informed the booking agency when they requested the change in day that I was full, and this information was never relayed to the guest. I did try to relocate the guest, but where it was 8pm on a... More

Quaint. Authentic. Memorable.... The Beechwood Inn is the sort of rare treat that only comes from serendipity. My fiance and I planned on coming down to the Cape to visit relatives over the holidays. On a budget, we were supposed to stay at my fiance's parent's cottage in Wianno. Plans fell through, so we needed to make some last minute... More

My husband and I stayed in the rose room last weekend, and it was really outstanding. The whole inn is filled with antiques and old art and we slept like rocks in our comfy (and huge!) four post bed. Julie (the innkeeper) was sweet and around when we needed her. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was nice and strong... More
