I hiked in to this place off the C&O Canal Towpath on April 4 towards the end of a 275-mile backpacking journey of the Cumberland Valley. My good friend had already spoken to an employee there by the name of Dot or Dottie in order to reserve a room for me and to give them her credit card number for... more

The room was descent but the lady that checked me in (Dot or Dottie) was very rude. Her tone of voice was very harsh and she would snap back with answers to the questions that I asked. I finally just kept cutting her off because I was tired of her tone with me so I got my room key and... more

This hotel rooms are so small. There really no room to move around in the bathrooms It no longer has a pool as it has been filled. We stayed only one night and left instead of staying 3 nights. We then stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Hagerstown much better more roomy and better breakfast plus has a pool. more

Looking for a place to stay on a trip back from the Outer Banks, NC, I decided that Hagerstown was a good stop and decided on the red Roof Inn. The rate was good and the motel has been recently renovated. It was very comfortable. The one thing I didn't like was the parking was kind of distant from the... more

This is an ok hotel clean nice staff. We shouldn't park in front of room and they where all outside entries. Not a lot of food in area, McDonald''s and Waffle House. It use to be a Day's Inn, because the sign is stashed behind the hotel. It was ok for a quick night's stay. more

We stayed here one night on our way to visit family for the holidays. It was a nice place to stay after a long day of driving. Everything was very clean and the area was quiet. The microwave and refrigerator were a nice addition to the room, even though we were not there long enough to use it. Although the... more

This motel is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and our king business included a refrigerator and also a microwave. There is coffee in the office 24 hours a day. The donuts in the morning were very fresh and not the usual boxed type. The price is very reasonable. There is a... more

We had booked this hotel since we were going to be riding on the C & O Canal Towpath. We arrived just after 6 PM, to a warm and friendly staff. They were interested to know about our ride. Also, they were helpful and friendly in sorting out our accomodations. The rooms were clean, bright, and efficient. Check Out was... more

After reading the reviews posted here, I was a bit skeptical about booking this place. But I only needed it for a stopover, and so I prepared myself for what I thought might have been less than professional staff. That was not necessary, however, because we found the staff here to be helpful, friendly, and quite nice. Pros: * Pet... more

While this hotel was clean and was a fine place to crash at night, the customer service experience made us certain to NEVER return. Make sure to present your AAA card at check in (even if you tell them you have a AAA card on the phone while making a reservation) - because they will not honor it at checkout.... more
