Like the previous reviewer I too had problems with unauthorized charges on my credit card. I was charged for an extra day when I wasn't even there. I understand mistakes sometimes happen, but the backoffice management was very uncaring, unprofessional and refused to correct their mistake. Front desk staff was gracious, but back office management needs to be replaced or... more

All of the hotels in Westminster have mixed reviews, with each having some terrible ones. We had to stay somewhere, so with great trepidation (I didn't even tell my family about everything bad that people had said, for fear that they'd freak out) we booked a room here. It was fine. Things were clean, the room was in good shape,... more

Our family was visiting Gettysburg for the July Reenactment Celebrations and selected this hotel due to its proximity to the Battle in Hanover, MD and Gettysburg, PA . The hotel was easy to find and quietly away from a major road. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was much more than continental and we were pleasantly surprised with... more

Dear Sir of Madam, Thank you for your wonderful comments regarding our hotel, I apologize for the lateness of our response but I wanted to know your response is appreciated. We try very hard to accommodate our guests to the best of our ability and I am very happy you enjoyed everything that we had to offer. If you are...

We stayed here for 2 nights in August and we had no complaints. First, the gentleman at the front desk was very courteous and check-in was fine despite the fact that he was totally bombarded. Apparently another hotel had overbooked and he had approx. 20-30 guests who just showed up needing rooms. Our room was basic, but very clean. The... more

The breakfast bar left much to be desired. Considering there are only three hotels in Westminister, Md and the Days Inn is the most expensive of the three, they can at least have a good of a breakfast bar as the Best Western down the street. I also heard other visitors complaining about the lack of variety the Days Inn... more

I keep seeing reviews that are slamming this place, but as a very frequent traveler, I can tell you that the customer service was A+ here. The young gentleman during the evening shift was friendly, helpful, and very courteous. The hotel has all of the amenities...pool, exercise room, WiFi, continental breakfast and 24 hour free coffee by the elevators. The... more

1. Hotel lobby reeked of cigarettes. 2. Elevator was muggy, musty, small and a little frightening. 3. Inner corridors smelled musty and smoky. 4. Room was dark and very worn. 5. Bathroom clean. 6. Blankets were thin layers of foam and not cloth in anyway. 7. The only highlight was the comp breakfast in the morning. Both the breakfast and... more

Hi - I read the other reviews for this hotel the night before I was to leave and almost changed to the Best Western where I have stayed before, but decided just to take a risk - well - everything was great - the staff was friendly the whole time I was there - and the room was great -... more

We had every bad experience that the earlier 3 reviewers had on one long weekend. Dirty Linens, Dirty rooms, no soap, sink in need of repair, and TV not working properly. The staff, said speak to the manager who wasn't available. As is noted, the only ray of light is the breakfast and person taking care of same. I think she... more
