At first I was a little concerned about staying here. Hilton Honors only requires 10,000 points for a free night here and my experiences with low point hotels in the past have been hit and miss. Boy, was I surprised. The entire hotel has recently been remodeled!! The lobby was beautifully decorated for the holiday season and the new "perfect... more

Stayed two nights at this hotel. We were up in the area for a weekend visit to DC and wanted to be away from the DC area but not too far away. Fifteen minute drive to the nearest metro station which was the easiest way into DC. Didn't have to deal with the hassle of parking. Staff was friendly. Entire... more

Stayed here 1 night because I was attending a music concert in the area. This hotel is really nice and the staff is very polite and courteous. The beds are super-comfy and the air-conditioning works very well. I slept like a baby. Breakfast was excellent. Everything that was supposed to be served hot was hot and everything that was cold... more

I stayed here for one night while on travel for business. The hotel is decent and what you would expect from a Hampton Inn. It's a little smaller than other Hampton Inns in the chain, but of similar quality. It's close to highway 301 and there is a shopping center on the opposite side of the highway with a grocery... more

I reserved a room at this hotel over a year ago. OVER a year ago. I spoke with them three times and received three emails on our arrival date confirming our arrival and the type of room we were supposed to have because someone at their hotel had changed our room type without our authorization. After a delayed flight, we... more

My wife, 3 kids, and I stayed here while we were visiting from California. The location is very developed, with lots of restaurants, a mall, retail stores, etc., but that was fine with us. It's something like 10 miles or less to the train station if you'd like to take the train into D.C. - which we did (with our... more

We recently spent 3 nights at the Hampton Inn in Waldorf MD. The hotel is about 30 minutes to the nearest Metro station and a 20 minute train ride into the city, so it is not exactly convenient to the DC area, but it's kind of nice to get away from the crowds in the city. The location is on a... more

The hotel was simply comfortable-lovely to spend the night-I look forward to my next stay-My only complaint was the selection of the foods for the continental breakfast-not enough of a selection but just okay. more

This Hampton Inn is outside of Washington DC but not so close I'd call it convenient to the downtown area. It is off a highway so it is not in a picturesque area, but it is across from a large shopping center which has a grocery and other conveniences. There are several chain type restaurants [i.e. Applebees] a short driving... more
