My wife and I went for a weekend get away and The Tilghman Island Inn was recommended to me by a colleague. The Inn is small, quaint and off the beaten path which makes it a great place to get lost. The rooms were elegantly furnished and offered spectacular views of the sunrise and sunset over the island. We signed... More

My wife and I just returned from a pleasant and relaxing stay at the Tilghman Island Inn. We had been there many years ago and intended to return. Finally, last week we did and enjoyed our stay. Our room was spotless, the view off our balcony wonderful, and the food terrific. We were made to feel at home. The staff... More

Sunday=Oysters and this was a perfect outing from our home in Baltimore. Oysters were from the Choptank River and the best and sweetest in memory. We ate them, along with a rockfish chowder and a shared angus burger, in the cozy bar with a view of the water and the warmth of a real wood fire. We had the feeling... More

This Inn was recommended to me in August 2012 by some DC friends. I found it absolutely charming. It was exciting being at the entrance of this harbour to the Bay and seeing all the boats entering off the Bay! My room was excellent and clean! The food is Gourmet Fabulous! I have returned many times since-- they allow us... More

We are hoping it is in better condition in the summer; ragged landscaping, pot holes everywhere in driveway, wooden walkway around building has loose boards, room dingy, dark and plain Jane. Water wasn't really hot for jacuzzi tub and service area doors around lobby, bar and dining room were always left ajar exposing the mess everywhere. Zero class. The owner... More

Needs to be renovated. Room on 2nd floor, large enough with jet bath tub - fine. Balcony is tiny, squeezed between your 2 neighbors without privacy. Breakfast? Coffee and juice. A couple of dried muffins and your choice of pre packed jams: strawberry, strawberry and strawberry. Some small packs of cereals, and a couple of fruit. When I asked if... More

This hotel did not look like the description on their website. I felt like I entered a decrepit place-the oyster driveway, the overgrown weeds, and neglected landscape was horrible. It is a shame that a beautiful water area was neglected so. Place was musty and we definitely did not want to eat there. It was very overpriced compared to the... More

We spent a very relaxing weekend. A perfect getaway from the city. Beautiful unspoiled waterfront view. Very helpful and friendly staff and the best restaurant in Tilghman. We will definitely visit this place again.

Decided to stay outside of St Michaels for once. You have to remember you're on an Island surrounded by water. Stayed on the first floor, people upstairs sounded like a herd of elephants all night long. Sat on a chair watching the the boats going by and fell to the ground when the back fell off. Went to breakfast in... More
