This is our first time to Tilghman Island. We came for the Lights Tour of 5 lighthouses. Captain Mike and his wife also run the Lazy Jack Inn. The house is beautiful and the innkeepers welcoming and made us feel right at home. This is the place to come to escape technology such as TV and smart phones (cell coverage... More

My husband and I stayed at the inn for his birthday weekend. We loved it. The room was so nice and comfortable, Mike and Carol were such gracious hosts and took such good care us starting our day with a delicious breakfast. The suggestions for sites to visit and restaurants were great. This is a definite B&B to visit.

For my birthday, my wife took me to the Lazy Jack Inn in Tilghman Island, MD, and both agree that this was the most wonderful B&B experience that we've ever had. Elements of the original inn remain, giving this a local, authentic feel, but the accommodations are anything but from the 1800's. The rooms are well appointed, the bed linens... More

My boyfriend surprised me with a birthday trip here this past May-and I am so glad he did! When pulling up there was plenty of space to park as well as well kept grounds and a beautiful "southern-style" porch with rocking chairs. When we met Carol she notified us that the air conditioning unit had just broken and offered to... More

Since my husband and I were taking the Chesapeake Bay Lighthouse tours with Capt. Mike Richards, in August and again in September, we stayed at the Lazy Jack which he and his lovely wife Carol run. The Inn is picturesque, clean, homey and a great place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Carol and Mike are warm and friendly... More

I can not speak more highly about the Lazy Jack Inn and Carol and Mike, a great B&B and two fantastic hosts. I guarantee your stay at the Lazy Jack Inn will be one to remember. The breakfasts are amazing (Carol is quite the chef). The location is perfect. Harrison's Chesapeake House restaurant is well within walking distance of the... More

After a 10 day visit with children and grandchildren, this would not have been a better choice for a place to 'regroup'. Mike and Carol's home is gracious, spacious and welcoming. Delicious crab meals are to be had short distance walks away. Afterwards, we spent most evenings sitting on the porch in rockers enjoying a quiet glass of wine. Mike... More

You won't find a lovelier spot than Tilghman Island, and you won't find more wonderful hosts than Carol & Mike. Their beautiful B&B overlooks the water, and there's a country store just down the road. The breakfasts were fantastic, and it was fun to meet the other guests. Our very large room had its own air conditioner. You'll love it... More

My mother-in-law purchased two nights in the Nellie Byrd room for my husband and I after we had a difficult spring. We had a lovely time. The room was large and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the jacuzzi tub. The breakfasts that Carol prepared were beyond delicious. The whole experience was very relaxing. Carol and Mike were there when we... More

We wanted a relaxing weekend and that expectation has been more than fulfilled. Carol and Mike are gracious hosts. I feel like they are old friends that I just met. Our room (the Nellie Byrd) was perfect. We slept so well. Hiking around the island we saw a bald eagle and other avian creatures. Breakfast was more than excellent (and... More
