Not matter how many times I visit, I am amazed at the beauty and peace that one can find at the Black Walnut Point Inn. Even for a short stay, it is transforming. Bob and Tracy are always gracious and welcoming. It feels like a second home. Love seeing all the wildlife, the gorgeous sky, and of course, the major... More

At this Inn we weret 4 nights and felt right away at home. The innkeepers Bob and Tracy are so friendly, helpful and patient. They carried all our lugguge up to our room and made sure we had all we needed for feeling comfortable. It is the right place to relax,to enjoy the stunning sunsets or the excellent resturants nearby.... More

I took my wife to this ideal location for her birthday. It was less than Satisfactory for 4 reasons. First was the noise level. I know there was a wedding the nest day but the party that night was too loud and too long (though it stopped by 10:55Pm, 5 minutes before quiet time, Then I could sleep. That sleep... More

I came across Black Walnut Point Point Inn by accident -- I was driving through Tilghman Island (also known as "Tilghman") as part of a family history project and found the Inn at the very end of the main road, just beyond the bird sanctuary. It didn't take long before I returned as a guest, just a few weeks later... More

Our stay at the Black Walnut Point Inn surpassed our expectations and we look forward to going back again. We enjoyed sunrises, sunsets, osprey, bald eagles, fishing, great breakfests, swimming in the very clean pool, conversation with interesting people, falling asleep and waking to the sound of waves on the rocks and much more. Innkeepers Bob and Tracy surely know... More

We had a great family reunion (four couples) at the Black Walnut Point Inn. The scenery, peace and quiet were wonderful. We enjoyed the bald eagles and a red-tailed hawk. Bob and Tracey lavished us with just the right amount of attention and are fabulous hosts. They also have excellent recommendations for places to have lunch or dinner in St.... More

Just back from a fantastic weekend Wedding at the BWI. Bob and Tracey led the way from the moment we arrived until the morning we sadly packed up to leave. Bob started our days with incredible breakfasts. We had a bit of a crazy crew but everyone was up early for Bob's breakfasts and the amazing sunrises ! The Wedding... More

The place is excellent for a quiet get away from the hustle and bustle We went for a wedding and it was the ideal spot for seclusion The hosts were great and the food and surroundings were excellent as well Highly recommended if you don't want a cookie cutter style, fast paced hotel Located in the middle of a bird... This my second stay at Black Walnut Point Inn. I enjoy the tranquility and the water views best. The location is perfect to just unwind and relax. If you like birding, the wildlife sanctuary is perfect for getting a view of the Bald Eagles. There is a pier to crab and fish as well. I hope to visit again.

We booked the Talbot room which was a bit different from the photo on the site- but it did include a queen and a single bed which made the room fairly tight for much else. The furnishings were worn and a bit tired, and the bed was not terribly comfortable. Unfortunately the curtains/blinds were either broken or ill-fitting so light... More
