First off, Bob and Tracy are two very sweet, very accommodating people. They have a love for the island and their Inn. We traveled to the inn to elope over the Thanksgiving holiday and the boys did everything that they could be be wonderful and accommodating. They made our ceremony exactly what we had hoped for. It was perfect and... More

Bob and Tracy are wonderfully friendly and helpful owners of this beautiful secluded Inn and we loved our large room (the Tilghman Room in the main house) for its water views (great sunrise) and old fashioned quaintness. It was a perfect getaway for Thanksgiving time - with good food at nearby restaurants (to say nothing of Bob's great breakfasts) and... More

We had less than 24 hours at Black Walnut Point Inn, but we had a mini-vacation full of good experiences. Start with Bob's check-in and house tour, plus his concierge reservation at a fabulous restaurant. Insert the most beautiful (and long-lasting) sunset of our lives as we sat by the Bay and rode along the shore. Settle in after dinner... More

Black Walnut Point Inn is in a beautiful location, one can easily see the owners are sprucing up the grounds with new plantings. However, it would be far better to spend some of that money on CLEANING. I know that being that close to water makes some extra bugs understandable, but not dusting or cleaning long standing webs in the... More

My husband & I just stayed two nights with Bob & Tracey. When we left we said, "till we come again!" We will definitely be back. Bob & Tracey are two of the nicest people you will ever meet who go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. You can either be as secluded as you... More

Not matter how many times I visit, I am amazed at the beauty and peace that one can find at the Black Walnut Point Inn. Even for a short stay, it is transforming. Bob and Tracy are always gracious and welcoming. It feels like a second home. Love seeing all the wildlife, the gorgeous sky, and of course, the major... More

I took my wife to this ideal location for her birthday. It was less than Satisfactory for 4 reasons. First was the noise level. I know there was a wedding the nest day but the party that night was too loud and too long (though it stopped by 10:55Pm, 5 minutes before quiet time, Then I could sleep. That sleep... More

I came across Black Walnut Point Point Inn by accident -- I was driving through Tilghman Island (also known as "Tilghman") as part of a family history project and found the Inn at the very end of the main road, just beyond the bird sanctuary. It didn't take long before I returned as a guest, just a few weeks later... More
