We booked the Talbot room which was a bit different from the photo on the site- but it did include a queen and a single bed which made the room fairly tight for much else. The furnishings were worn and a bit tired, and the bed was not terribly comfortable. Unfortunately the curtains/blinds were either broken or ill-fitting so light... More

Bob and Tracy are excellent hosts and we spent a very good time. In the morning, the breakfast is delicious, un wonderful biginning for the rest of the day. We walked, we ran, we watched the birds and we took advantage of the beautiful garden. It was just perfect.

We stayed in one of the cabins for four days/three nights and thoroughly enjoyed the quiet, peacefulness of time on the porch, the sound of the water and birds, and being by ourselves as much as we wished. Although all other cabins and rooms were occupied, we had time and space to ourselves both inside the Inn - at the... More

I stayed here with my boo Sun July 27 - 29 in the Tilghman room. It was one of the best experiences of our life‼ Had an amazing view of the Choptank and Chesapeake Bay and the pool from our room. Waking up with scent of coffee :) I still have pleasant flashbacks of sleeping on the hammock with the... More

Bob and Tracy are the very best inn managers. If you want privacy, you've got it. If you want company, you can count on that too. The grounds are impeccable, the cottages are awesome. We'd never stay anywhere else on the Eastern Shore. Wildlife is at every turn; land, sea, and air. It's one of the most relaxing trips we... More

Incredibly welcoming environment and hosts. Water surrounds the property, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, perfect for moon / star gazers. Bob and Tracy made my family feel so welcome and at home. Nothing uptight or stuffy about this place and its people. Exactly the opposite.

We had our wedding there on 6/20/14. It is the most serene and peaceful place, I have in many years. It's a little rustic but that's what makes it so fitting for the location. The owners, Tracy and Bob, are 2 of the best host that really try to make all your wishes come true! We plan to return again... More

We rented two cottages at Black Walnut Point Inn to celebrate my sister graduating college and a mini family reunion as we are based in 3 continents. We wanted a place where we could relax, unwind and catch up. And this place was perfect! Firstly the cottages - rustic and fairly basic but very spacious and full of charm. Nothing... More

I stumbled upon the BWPI a few months back while exploring the Chesapeake Bay for the first time since moving from California. We always thought we would like to stay there and as chance would have it, we ended up getting one of their Suites for night recently. The setting is absolutely awesome, the facilities and amenities beyond perfect, the... More

Bob and Terry are great and super accommodating. The location is so perfect you won't want to leave! I'd recommend if you stay in a cabin, bring food so you can cook. The cabins all have a kitchen with basic cookware and silverware/plates. The only reason we every left the Inn was to eat, and I wish we had thought... More
