This trip was an impromptu get-a-way from urban life in DC. From the moment we arrived, Bob and Tracey were nothing but amazing!!! They were extremely friendly, welcoming and did everything they could to make the stay amazing for my partner and I. I would HIGHLY recommend Black Walnut Point Inn and will be going back VERY SOON.

My partner and I were looking for a quick weekend getaway and found this hidden gem in Tilghman, MD. Bob and Tracy were gracious and caring hosts that made us feel very welcome. The grounds are gorgeous, the scenery is peaceful and the house is rich with comfort. We couldn't have asked for a better time and look forward to... More

We stayed at the BWPI for a winter weekend getaway, and it was fantastic. Bob and Tracy are wonderful, gracious hosts who made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves the entire time. We stayed in one of the three cabins on the property directly overlooking an inlet of the Choptank River -- the sunrise view from the bedroom were... More

It is indeed peaceful here at the Black Walnut Point Inn. My wife and I were on a "between Christmas and New Year's get away." A wonderfully long pastoral drive brings you to the home which is surrounded by water. Our room was large, comfortable and very clean. The home offers a place for everyone to get away from each... BWPI was the most welcoming and comfortable destination we had ever been to. Bob and Tracy were wonderful hosts. Whether you are going for a romantic getaway, a wedding or to gather with friends, this is the place. Plenty of space to be alone or to be in the middle of fun. Felt like home!

Black Walnut Point Inn met our expectations and beyond at Christmas! Meeting Bob and Tracy added a special treat that made our trip especially meaningful. We were blessed by their spiritual insights -- lessons we feel were divinely ordained for our listening. Their Bed and Breakfast is quite lovely, peacefully nestled in the heart of the island; its ambiance was... More

Loved the experience. The only regret I have is not booking a trip earlier in the year. Yet, it was still a relaxing winter getaway. Can't wait to go back in the spring of 2015 when we can fish, ride bikes, and take part in other spring time fun. I'd recommend it to ANYONE.

First off, Bob and Tracy are two very sweet, very accommodating people. They have a love for the island and their Inn. We traveled to the inn to elope over the Thanksgiving holiday and the boys did everything that they could be be wonderful and accommodating. They made our ceremony exactly what we had hoped for. It was perfect and... More

Bob and Tracy are wonderfully friendly and helpful owners of this beautiful secluded Inn and we loved our large room (the Tilghman Room in the main house) for its water views (great sunrise) and old fashioned quaintness. It was a perfect getaway for Thanksgiving time - with good food at nearby restaurants (to say nothing of Bob's great breakfasts) and... More
