Bob and Tracy are the very best inn managers. If you want privacy, you've got it. If you want company, you can count on that too. The grounds are impeccable, the cottages are awesome. We'd never stay anywhere else on the Eastern Shore. Wildlife is at every turn; land, sea, and air. It's one of the most relaxing trips we... More

Incredibly welcoming environment and hosts. Water surrounds the property, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, perfect for moon / star gazers. Bob and Tracy made my family feel so welcome and at home. Nothing uptight or stuffy about this place and its people. Exactly the opposite.

We had our wedding there on 6/20/14. It is the most serene and peaceful place, I have in many years. It's a little rustic but that's what makes it so fitting for the location. The owners, Tracy and Bob, are 2 of the best host that really try to make all your wishes come true! We plan to return again... More

We rented two cottages at Black Walnut Point Inn to celebrate my sister graduating college and a mini family reunion as we are based in 3 continents. We wanted a place where we could relax, unwind and catch up. And this place was perfect! Firstly the cottages - rustic and fairly basic but very spacious and full of charm. Nothing... More

I stumbled upon the BWPI a few months back while exploring the Chesapeake Bay for the first time since moving from California. We always thought we would like to stay there and as chance would have it, we ended up getting one of their Suites for night recently. The setting is absolutely awesome, the facilities and amenities beyond perfect, the... More

Bob and Terry are great and super accommodating. The location is so perfect you won't want to leave! I'd recommend if you stay in a cabin, bring food so you can cook. The cabins all have a kitchen with basic cookware and silverware/plates. The only reason we every left the Inn was to eat, and I wish we had thought... More

The Black Walnut Point Inn does feel like it's 'at the end of the world', as they say. It's very secluded, peaceful and with beautiful scenery. It is a great getaway when feeling stressed out, needing some romantic time and space, or needing to reflect. We just held a wedding ceremony at BWPI - only my husband, myself and Bob... More

This was our first stay at the Inn after driving up the Point drive several years ago and finding the Inn at the end of the road. We were greeted by the Owners immediately upon arriving and they showed us to the cabin that we booked. Both were very welcoming. Our stay was for 2 nights so we were able... More

This quiet hideaway was spectacular: water lapping at the land's edge, sunsets that reflect off the water like diamonds, beautiful flowers, breezes to soothe, and hosts to please. Our two day respite was special.

I was looking for a special "away" place to spend with my girlfriend. Found Black Walnut Point and decided to go visit. I can say that it was very private and quiet. We sat on the screened porch at or cabin and watched storms coming up the Chesapeake Bay. The lightening show was awesome. On Sunday morning we went to... More
