We stayed at the Wood Duck Inn on our Wedding day. We could not have had a better experience! The suite we stayed in was absolutely charming with our very own deck and picture perfect view of the Bay. We had the privilege of having dinner with the chef and it was sensational!! We decided then that Wood Duck Inn... more

We spent a nice weekend at the Wood Duck Inn after reading the reviews here. It was a wise choice since we wanted to be on the water with no noise or hassles, yet still be close to St. Michaels. As other recent reviewers have noted, Kim and Jeff run a very relaxed inn, and the guests were all in... more

Needed a one night get-away to the Eastern Shore...we found it and then some. Laid back and extremely comfortable Inn. The breakfast and dinner was amazing and some of the best food we have had in all of our worldwide travels. Wonderful people, food and atmosphore...this says it all! more

The dinner Jeff cooks is absolutely amazing and well worth the price. It is 5 star quality , cooked in the next room and made with fresh, local produce. Kim and Jeff are very friendly and simply take care of everything. more

The CWDI was a great place to stay. Kim and Jeff were wonderful hosts. Jeff is a former chef, so his breakfasts are off the hook. Absolutely the best breakfasts I've eaten. The Banana bread French toast was creative and tasty. Our room was nice and cozy. The other guests at the inn were a lot of fun. Our first... more

Lovely inn, great location. Since only a few rooms were taken, the hosts showed us all the rooms and let us choose. Our room was very attractive, bright, and comfortable. We had a delicious breakfast and snacks; there was a guest refrigerator for our use and lots of reading material around. One night we had walked to a nearby restaurant... more

As did a previous poster from Florida and most other guests who have posted reviews here, we thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing 6-nights stay at the Wood Duck Inn this month (we left, thankfully, just before the disgruntled NJ poster arrived). This was our third visit to the Inn. Jeff & Kim were, as always, gracious, welcoming, and very helpful with... more

As I was going on Trip Advisor this morning to comment about my wonderful weekend in Tilghman Island, I noticed a rather scathing post from another guest staying at the Wood Duck Inn this past weekend. Without knowing who wrote the review, I think I know which guest wrote it. The guest I think is responsible for this in my... more

We initially booked for one night but loved the inn and the area so much that we stayed an extra day. The hosts were very pleasant and the breakfasts outstanding. We enjoyed relaxing on the back porch with a view of the Dogwood Harbor, a working harbor. Our room (Magnolia) was small but adequate, with a comfortable bed and four... more
