Our family was in a nearby town for a funeral, and at the last minute, the staff was able to put us in 3 rooms on the same floor of the mansion, despite the fact that they were almost completely booked. The rooms were beautifully furnished and decorated, impeccably clean, comfortable, and spacious. My husband and I have probably stayed... More

We stayed 2 nights in the Burch room at Witherow house. The bed is the most comfortable I've ever slept on! The fireplace gives it a romantic feel. Being on the edge of the property makes it a bit of a trek to the mansion for tea, breakfast, and dinner in the smoke house - we drove rather than walking.... More

Stayed at this lovely B&B the night before heading back to Dulles after touring Gettysburg. The host were very helpful getting us settled in our room, the Francis Scott Key room. The feather bed was so comfortable! The linens and bathroom were luxurious. The fireside bar was comfortable for an evening glass of wine before dinner. Although we did not... More

We planed an overnight getaway the weekend before Valentine's along with another couple. We have stayed at Antrim several times but this was their first. As usual the service was excellent. We stayed in the Clabaugh room, they stayed in the Boyd. Both rooms are beautiful, Clabaugh is a favorite but this time the room was very cold and did... More

Just a stone's throw from DC, is this magnificent property. We stayed in one of the delightful historic houses on the property with two other couples who are friends and had a wonderful time. Service is first class, starting with the champagne on arrival. There is also an afternoon tea and a cocktail hour which precedes dinner which is served... More

We decided on a last minute stay the weekend prior to Valentines day. Since our reservations were last minute, our room choices were limited to the last three rooms available. We decided on the Armistead room. We found it very comfortable and very spacious. We also opted for the Winter Getaway Special. The special was not available on that Saturday,... More

Just returned from an overnight for our anniversary. Stayed in the Ameila Suite which was very nice. Well-decorated, elegant bathroom, okay bed (the mattress was hard and the feather top well-past needing to be replaced), nice fireplace. Let's face it, in a hotel or inn, it's really about the bed. It's the reason I love Marriott's so much, because they've... More

I just returned from three days at the Antrim for a corporate event. The staff was superior, the food incredible and the rooms/suites were beautiful. Some of the decor shows a little wear but it does not detract from the charm and beauty. The staff even put together an impromptu lunch (for 30) when our meetings on the last day... More
