This is the second time we have stayed at the Carmel Cove. They have a beautiful property that is near a smaller end of the lake. Quiet and serene, it makes for a relaxing and romantic getaway. We stayed here to celebrate our 5th anniversary, and Mary was a fabulous and gracious host. This place has much to do, with... More

Mary and her son were gracious hosts. Truly a quiet getaway for 2 in a great location. One of the best parts was all the included amenities-kayak, canoe, fishing tackle, bikes, tennis rackets, smores, wine and beer 24 hrs, and much more. Nice that they don't nickel and dime you to death like many other places. The only reason 4... More

Staying at the Carmel Cove Inn was such a lovely getaway. Mary and her staff know how to create a relaxing and fun stay. From a delicious breakfast (included) to use of canoes, fishing gear, bikes, and tennis court and equipment you almost don't need to leave the Inn. They have an outside bonfire every night with tasty s'mores. They... More

Carmel Cove is a delightful place to unwind from a busy day. From the wine, beer and sodas available always to the after dinner port and the nightly bonfire with s'mores ingredients provided to the relative isolation to the gourmet quality breakfasts to the general helpfulness and friendliness, It was great. We were there 15 years ago and couldn't believe we... More

I could not have asked for a better trip. Joe and Mary were awesome and always willing to help. The nightly bonfire was relaxing and we met several other nice couples. The room was great, clean, spacious, and great to relax in. Breakfast that was served everyday was divine and I look forward to going back in the future with... More

Very lovely setting in the Deep Creek Lake area. It is not lakefront -- and the walk to the lake is 200 yards down a wooded path. The rooms are lovely and the common areas are quite spacious, includes a pool table! Mary offers appetizers and wine every night at 6 pm, and there is a small fridge that has... More

My boyfriend and I stayed only one night, just to get away for a weekend and have some relaxation time. We actually went on a Sunday night into Monday, so many of the rooms had been vacated earlier in the day, and we practically had the whole pace to ourselves for most of the time. I had never been to... More

My husband and I are not B&B fans, but Mary and the Carmel Cove Inn changed our minds. We booked a room last year not understanding it was a B&B. it was the 4th of July holiday, and we had no other options that day. Mary and her son Joe changed our minds about our "no B&B" philosophy. We returned... More

We had not previously stayed near Deep Creek Lake because we thought we wouldn't enjoy being around all the motor boats and crowds. But Carmel Cove Inn proved to be the perfect location ... and a lovely B&B. The inn is set on a no-wake cove ... so my husband was able to do a long-distance swim while I kayaked... More

We stayed at Carmel Cove Inn for the first time and our experience couldn't have been more pleasant! This former monastery is nestled between the woods, very close to the lake and provides the most amazing amenities including clean and spacious rooms, sporting equipment (canoes, kayak, tennis, bikes), home-cooked breakfasts, complimentary afternoon snacks and refreshments, and such wonderful staff service....
