My fiance and I stayed for two nights and enjoyed ourselves immensely. We originally booked a deluxe room, but upon arrival Mary, the innkeeper, upgraded us for free to a larger fireplace room! The inn itself is very nice. There is a dock with a canoe and peddleboat, as well as, fishing gear available to all guests. The common room... More

What a lovely little inn nestled in a cove on Deep Creek Lake. The innkeeper Mary and her son Joe ran the place and were very hospitable. They have all sorts of amenities --- canoes, paddle boat, kayaks, bikes, bonfires, snacks, soda/beer/wine, private decks, and clean accommodations. Not one thing was substandard. The breakfasts were divine and the waitstaff was... More

We were looking for a unique place to get away for a few days in Deep Creek Lake when we came across this renovated monastery tucked away in the woods. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the innkeeper, Mary, who allowed us to check-in early and gave us a short tour of the building and grounds. We stayed... More

We planned a simple weekend away which turned out to be a simply wonderful experience. Our accommodations were superior and could not have been any more delightful. Our room was clean, private and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served with a smile and a kind word. Mary and her staff are very welcoming, a pleasure to talk to but... More

Planned an anniversary getaway at the Carmel Cove Inn for September of 2013 and was pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed our experience. We stayed in room # 10 which had a wood burning fireplace, exquisite decor, and was amazingly private. Arrived in our room to find champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. Breakfasts were delicious. Loved having breakfast in our... More

Visited the Carmel Cove Inn for our honeymoon In Mid-July, upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the innkeepers son & taken to our room. Our room was very clean, intimate, private & comfortable. We were left chilled champagne & chocolate covered strawberries by our bed. Breakfast each morning was phenomenal, generous portions and variety. I didn't have much interaction... More

Spent two nights at Carmel Cove Inn with two other couples to celebrate the New Year with snowy hikes and good food. The Inn lives up to its reviews. Its nicely decorated, clean and the breakfast is delicious. The innkeeper is helpful but not intrusive. We loved the common room with always available wine and beer and nightly snacks. It... More

After much contemplation on where to stay at Deep Creek, we decided on Carmel Cove. The choice was good. When we arrived, we had a split of champagne, along with two chocolate covered cherries, to celebrate my birthday. Our room was large with a gas fireplace. Each room at the inn is individually decorated. Be sure to check them out... More

My husband and I stayed at Carmel Cove this past weekend. It was a wonderful getaway. The innkeeper Mary showed us the facility when we arrived and was extremely gracious and accommodating. You can tell that she truly takes pride in what she does. We stayed in a "premiere" suite which is a little pricier but worth it for the... More

We stayed 2 nights at Carmel Cove Inn for the first time at the end of July. The Inn had many thoughtful touches for guests and details were not overlooked. Mary and her son were exceptional hosts. The breakfast meals were excellent and a very pleasant surprise. In the very nice common area complimentary snacks, beer and wine at cocktail... More
