This is a lovely Inn located on the water to make for a pleasant stay. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The only draw back was that the restaurant was not open during the week although breakfast was available each morning.

My husband and I traveled to the Kent Manor Inn on Sunday, May 3rd. We had a coupon voucher guaranteeing a 2 night, 3 day stay. We purchased the voucher well in advance and reserved the time on our calendar. As our experiences with Inns and B&Bs have always been favorable, we were looking forward to this time away. UNFORTUNATELY,... More

Although I'd like to believe that all guest experiences are salvageable I think I've met my match! Staff tells me we promptly and religioulsy return all calls within two hours (except during the evening when we are w/o front desk staff). Yes, we did have an airconditioning problem which, of course, has now been resolved with a replacement chiller compressor.... More

This is a beautiful historic inn with grounds full of blossoming trees and plants. We had a lovely room with fireplace and balcony. We are not usually fans of the small inn or B&B but this was very quiet and privacy was not a problem. While the room was furnished with antiques and reproduction pieces the bed was a very... More

Thank you for the delightful review of our country inn. Wtih 24 rooms we call ourselves and Inn rather than a B&B. We do not hover over you during breakfast! And our breakfast is always a hot and cold buffet. Good strong coffee, too! With the nicer weather, please come back and use our complimentary kayaks, boats and bicycles. Plenty... More

We spent one night in this lovely old house on Kent Island on a creek emptying in to the Chesapeake Bay. We got a lovely room with a king bed that opened onto a common porch, the best feature of the hotel. Rooms downstairs were lovely and lemonade and fresh cookies appeared in the afternoon. A great breakfast was served... More

A wonderful weekend in the relaxed setting of the Chesapeake Bay. Our king room was on the front side of the inn with a porch. The bed was extremely comfortable and with cable TV and free internet we were more than happy. The continental breakfast was good but the real treat of the weekend was the Sunday brunch. It offered... More

The Kent Manor is an historic structure. It sits on a large, well maintained property. The rooms are very comfortable but if I have on negative thing to say it is that sounds really carry. We were fortunate enough to have only one neighbor to our right and they were very considerate. However, when the maid cleaned the room above,... More

Yes, in a building almost 200 years old sound does tend to carry. Maybe that's part of our charm! We are close to DC and Baltimore. Many things to do on the eastern shore every weekend! Come for our food. Come for our waterfront. Borrower one of our bicycles or kayaks. Play corn hole. So much to see and do! More

We got a nice deal for the Kent Manor Inn from one of the internet travel companies. At the reduced price, the inn was a charming experience. We went in early April, so there were few people staying at the inn. But yes, the old building has little soundproofing, and we could hear people banging around in the next room... More

Thank you for sharing your recent experience with the TravelAdvisor community. It sounds as though you had an enjoyable time with us. And yes, we are reviewing the breakfast offerings. We always have a hot egg-based dish for those who prefer protein to carbs. And, of course, the muffings, breads, bagels and such are what they are. Yoghurts are available... More

We decided to stay here at the last minute during our spring break because of a special deal they had and because we thought it would be a nice area for biking. The inn is very attractive. The room was clean and nice, bed was comfortable, private bath, and all of the amenities. Our room opened up to a balcony,... More

I'm sorry we weren't available, personally, to greet you on your late arrival. As a country inn, we are cross between a full service hotel and a B&B. We, most hopefully, made up for this throughout the balance of your stay. Many visit with us for our over one-mile of waterfront, complimentary watercraft and bicycles, outdoor sports such as volleyball... More

I bought a Travel Zoo coupon for this Inn. It is a cross between a bed and breakfast and Inn. There is a nice sitting area when you come in with a fire place as well as delicious chocolate chip cookies. It is low key and has a relaxing atmosphere. I was a bit thrown off when driving the main... More

This was our first trip to the Eastern shore of Maryland and we will definitely return. The Kent Manor Inn is exquisitely decorated and has elegant ambiance. Thank you for the recommendation! Please return to take advantage of our personal watercraft, bicycles and outdoor activities. Wander our 220 watefront acres, too! We do double-check rooms prior to arrival... not sure why the heat was blasting but we're on it! Best Alan Michaels More
