We had our annual company meeting there. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate us. The facility was very charming and every guest was very happy. Did the Ritz last year but will be coming back here next year. Thank you Kent Manor Inn!

I'm very impressed with this BB facility. The place has a facility for a nice wedding reception by the water. I like the feeling of being isolated from the buzzing congestion of the city. This place offer peace and tranquility during our stay as there are only two couple guests when we were there. Still the free was prepared for... More

If you enjoy going back in time and staying in a "bed and breakfast" type setting, then this is the place to stay. The rooms are decorated in period furniture. Many rooms have balconies. The food is good and the morning continental breakfast is very nice. The one drawback we experienced was the bathroom. Our's was about the size of... More

Let's just start by saying the service was excellent, the food superb (see restaurant review on this property) and the room was very nice, clean and comfortable (although our room did not have a closet of any type) - more the Amish type of pegs on the way on which to hang your clothes(must be fair - I did get... Such excellent suggestions, George! Thank you. We are ordering the poolside water cooler this week! Besides our existing outdoor decks, docks, brick pathways and such, there are many restricition as to what can (nothing) and what cannot (everything) be built withing 300' of the water's edge. Fortunately, we are grandfathered for all of our waterfront amenities. I look forward to... More

My husband and I spent our 31st anniversary at the Kent Manor Inn and were very pleased with the staff, the Inn and the delicious Sunday brunch. All in all, we were treated like a King and Queen on our special day. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, romantic get-away close to Washington, D.C. and... More

I was at Kent Manor Inn and it is gorgeous. The staff was friendly and welcomed us for a business meeting. The place is perfect for a wedding. I was told that weddings are their biggest draw. Check it out. The food was good, and the views special.

I attended a business retreat here, but also took the time to scope out the place because I'm always on the lookout for places to kidnap my wife, abandon the children and disappear to. The rooms are about the size you would expect from most B&Bs, but they have their own bathrooms, balconies and keurig coffee makers. The grounds are... More

The Manor House is warm and comfortable in wintertime but you are correct when you stated that warmer weather is the best time to enjoy the Inn's treasures. Our gardeners have been busy this winter preparing for Spring. It's the best time to enjoy sitting dockside, our kayaks, liesurely bike rides or our gardens. Looking forward to your return and... The board decided to conduct our first meeting of the year at this hotel. With staff and board members combined, we totaled 21. We confirmed the use of all of the 24 guest rooms to have exclusive use of the Manor. This gave us privacy to have discussions outside of the meeting room. It felt like we were the owners... More

So glad to hear your first board meeting of the year was successful as well as private. We look forward to treating you, again, as lords, ladys and gentry. Bring on the trumpeteers! My company held it's "2014 sales kickoff" meeting at the Inn mid January 2014. We were a bit concerned about the impending snow storm. Once we got to the Inn we found the long driveway and all side walks cleared of snow, the first floor fireplaces all aglow and hot tea and homemade cookies awaiting our arrival. From the friendly...
