Solomons Island, unlike Lexington Park, is great for leisure travelers looking for some stunning scenery. There are 9 or 10 marinas, and the Patuxent River looks like a lake. WIIFI does not work in rooms and the staff will not help you in any way regarding this issue. You will have to use their computers in business center or pay to use the "free" wifi in business center. WIfi was EXTREMELY slow. Dial-up service is faster. more

the toilet seat had feces on it , the coffee pot top was broken in room 317. the carpet in elevator was filthy, the surface of elevator doors was heavily tarnished. not what i expect from a holiday inn. more

We stayed at this Holiday Inn for one night during a baseball tournament. The hotel is great! Nice pool, clean well-maintained rooms, nice deck out back and beautiful setting. I've been to Solomons Island several times over the past few years and have always stayed at the Holiday Inn in one of the waterview suites in the south building. This is a wonderful place to stay. The hotel is clean, well maintained, the staff is very accommodating and pleasant. Highly recommended. more

Over the past several years I have spent well over 100 nights at the Holiday Inn Solomons. Although it's an older hotel, it's recently received a great face lift. I rate hotels on 'comfort', including things like towels, bed linens and water pressure - I know it may sound strange...but those are the things that I miss the most about... more

First the goods. The place is well-located just off of highway 4. There's a very nice fitness center, good conference rooms, good continental breakfast, and front desk service was great.
