We spent three nights here. I selected this place after looking at pictures of it on the web. Its location more than met with my expectations. It is a perfect setting for viewing the water, which is only a few feet away from the entrance. The B&B is in an old plantation house. It is chock a block full of... More

On a trip to a high school reunion in Wilmington, DE, we decided to find a B&B on the way up from Washington. Fortunately we found the Mansion in Snow Hill,l Maryland. Exactly what we were ,looking for...historic, setting, accommodations, and hospitality. Wished we could have stayed longer, but alas, this was not our destination.

We found this B&B "on the fly" on a road trip from Savannah to CT. Thanks Trip Advisor!. Mansion House was exactly what we hope to find in a B&B: tasteful, high quality interior furnishings, lovely grounds/location, interesting hosts, and good food. Mansion House hit them all. It's an 1830 house that's thoughtfully done - no kitchy clutter found in... More

Six of us spent a long weekend at the Mansion House in mid-November and had a FABULOUS time! Carol's breakfasts were out of this world, the rooms were divine and the water views inspiring. We canoed the Upper Pocomoke and Nassawango Creek with help from the friendly folks at the Pocomoke River Canoe Outfitters (who ran our shuttles) and dined... More

We were fortunate to get a booking over the 4th of July weekend. Snow Hill and Public Landing are a great location to experience small town americana patriotism. The owners of the Mansion House have taken over a neighborhood tradition of hosting a public potluck cookout for all of their neighbors and guest of the B&B. The variety and quality... More

My husband and I used to travel a lot internationally - after purchasing our first home, our focus has shifted to local getaways. I was pleasantly surprised by the serenity and beauty of the Mansion House. We spent a lovely afternoon mingling with many members of the community at the yearly fourth of July cookout. The food was delicious, everyone... More

My husband and I just got back from our 4 day weekend at the Mansion House. The location and house were both wonderful. Overlooking the bay and within a 20-30 minute drive to Assateague and Chincoteague. The room (Ocean View) was spacious, clean, well appointed, and included a very comfortable bed, chocolates and a bottled of water everyday. Carol is... More

My husband and I booked a weekend at the Mansion House for last weekend. We have never been in the area and went into this B&B blind. Our expectations were exceeded and we couldn't have asked for better. The location was key, a very quiet town on the bay with lots of local things to do such as bike riding,... More

My wife and I had our first weekend in almost 9 years with no children, and decided to spend it in MD. The Mansion House is out about 45 minutes from OC and 30 minutes from Assateague Island. We took advantage of their canoe, their bikes, and their amazing view of the sunrise over the bay. The side yard overlooking... More

My wife and I went to the Mansion House for 2 nights as a mini-getaway from DC. The location on the water is excellent and the breakfasts were gourmet. We were really impressed with the cooking (which was all customized as vegan for us). Really sweet dog (hair not fur so fine if you have allergies) made us smile. They... More
