Unfortunately this is the worst Days Inn I've stated at and I've stayed at quite a few. They have some policy of copying your driver's license for some unattributed law, which I found out was false. I don't think they understand the concept of Identity Theft at all. The rooms are bad, A/C didn't work, toilet broken and still un-repaired... more

Can not find Words for explaining the "worst experience" Where to start.. The parking arrangement is pathetic. The intercontinental breakfast is just coffee..nothing else... The internet doesn't work. I believe they share the same internet router with EconoLodge next door... The worst thing...and this is the hillarious.... they gave us a key of a room which was already occupied..we tried... more

This was the worst hotel in my life! I visited with my friend in September. We stayed there for about 4hrs of a planned pre-booked weeks stay. Both me an my friend are not weedy guys, but we felt unsafe staying there. At around 6pm some black guys kept hovering outside the room, then as it got later some other... more

How bad can it be? You are only going to be there for one night - and not a full night either, just 6 or 7 hours. And with that you convince yourself that being close to Metro is actually a good value - which is the only reason I picked this hotel. Well, I found out. Every square inch... more

Check-in clerk was a moron. First he didn't know how to find my reservation, so I had to give him an e-mail print-out. Then he found it and was surprised it was done through the internet. Evidently he does not know how to query the system. The check in process took 10 minutes because only he was available and could... more

Overall, this hotel isn't the nicest in the DC area, but it was satisfactory. The best available rate for that night was $99.95 for a nonsmoking king room, which makes it a terrible value. If you can get a discount on the room, it's not a bad place to stay. Check-in at the hotel went smoothly and quickly, and the... more

This place should be shut down !! It's a health hazard if nothing else. When checking in late one night we were met with another guest complaining at the front desk about a "small animal" in his room. The response from the man behind the bullet proof shield was, "is it a squirrel?" .... That should have been our first... more

Hotel seemed OK from descriptions. Forget it! We reserved for over a week. As with the previous review when we arrived we were told that the computers were down and had been down for over a week. So the hotel could not confirm any reservations and could not process credit cards. We had to pay cash. Paid for the first... more

I googled "hotels near Walter Reed" and this Days Inn came up. My brother is Army and was flown from Afghanistan to WRAMC in an emergency situation and I just needed a place to crash for one very short night, until I could get squared away with the Army. Honestly, being about a mile from Walter Reed Army Medical is... more

I was nervous about staying here after reading some of the reviews other people wrote. Check-in was fast, and the folks behind the (what looked like bullet proof glass enclosed) counter were somewhat friendly, even though it was hard to understand what they were saying. Parking is VERY limited! We got there early before a lot of people checked in... more
