We had to be near the hospital and that's why stayed here. For the money it was fine - it isn't meant to be the Ritz. The only big issue we had was that they ask for your driver's license and make a copy of it. They then keep this even after you leave. When I first checked in the... more

Want Scabies for you and your whole family? Stay at the Travelodge in Silver Spring! Not only will you enjoy the disgusting and filthy accomodations, but you too can get a wonderfully contagious parasite that is extremely difficult to get rid of! You can miss school, your kids can miss school and you can miss work! Its a great deal!... more

This hotel is disgusting. Aside from the bed bugs, spotty wireless internet, a staff that speaks very, very little english and dirty linens thenumber one problem with this hotel is the staff. They are rude and in competent. They continually mis placed credit card authorization forms which resulted in us being locked out of our rooms 3 times. They guaranteed... more

We arrived at 11:30 pm. Since there are fewer spaces in the parking lot than rooms in the hotel, we had to park on the street, and then move the car into the lot before 7 am the next morning to avoid a ticket. The counter in the lobby as well as the counter in the Subway restaurant next door... more

We paid $80/night for 2 adults/1 bed for 2 weeknights in silver springs. This motel is about a 15-20 min. non-scenic walk from downtown silver springs, which has lots of chain restaurants and stores (macaroni grill, potbelly's, panera bread, dsw, ann taylor loft, borders). There is a Subway restaurant on site. About 10-15 min. drive off I-495. This particular Travelodge... more

I made a reservation for one night non-smoking room. Upon arrival there were none available, only a smoking room. The carpet was filthy, as was the bed cover and mattress(clearly stained with bodily fluids). There were many cockroaches in the bathroom. The room was disgusting. We checked in at night after a long drive and didn't see much of the filth, but... more

The rooms were very mildewed and even the exterior smelled of urine. We booked three rooms, in one the television didn't work preventing us from watching the end of the Mets playoff game and in another room the toilet didn't work and the requested porter never showed up, finally it overflowed flooding the room forcing the occupants to use another... more

We picked this hotel because of the price. When we got to our second floor room, the first thing that I noticed was that our smoke detector had been removed and it was just a few wires hanging out of the wall. This was disturbing because when I pulled back the blanket, there were cigarette burn holes on it, meaning... more

We needed a place to stay that was close to my daughter's college, and this place fit the bill, and was relatively cheap at $89. However, upon arrival we discovered that it was in the worst part of town. My wife took one look and almost said we had to leave. The front desk counter is behind glass, like in... more
