My husband and I were looking for a romantic and affordable place to spend our first anniversary together and he found The Hambleton Inn! The reviews promised a great location, charming rooms and 3 course breakfasts that were to die for and I can tell you that we were not disappointed! Sherry, one of the innkeepers, is an incredible cook... More

We stayed in the Talbot Room on the second floor with private bath and a small window facing the water. A door to a common porch overlooking the harbor was nice but the seating was very uncomfortable. The "common" areas are unlike most B&Bs I have been to as they are only porches (all with uncomfortable seating). It was very... More

Just returned from several days at the Hambleton Inn. If you want a nice, clean and well located B&B this is the place for you. Sherry, the Innkeeper is more than willing to make your stay as pleasant as possible. If you go, try Theo's on Talbot St. for a wonderful dinner and Latitude 38 in Oxford for another great... More

We were looking for a place to hold a small wedding in St. Michaels, and Hambleton Inn's harbor side location was a great choice. We had the ceremony on the inn's lovely front lawn, which is right next to the water and nicely equipped with a wooden deck that provided an excellent place for us to stand. Our caterer set... More

One of the best locations in town, on the water, walking distance to town, shops, and restaurants. The room, #4 was nicely decorated and looked out on the water. The owners were friendly and helpful. The prices are high but are high everywhere in town, so for St. Michaels ok. Home cooked breakfast.

First time in St. Michael's and thanks to Sherry and Charles an unforgettable stay at their clean, comfortable bed and (scrumptuous) breakfast. We left the table each morning completely full and satisifed--experiencing new tastes at each sitting. From the homemade granola with fresh fruit and cream to the strawberry lemon curd parfait to the baked apple with fresh cranberry sauce.... More

First time to stay at a bed and breakfast-quite charming, water front, stayed here with good friends. Hosts were very friendly, only comment would be that this type of accommodations are not good for couples that have small children that start crying early in the morning. Good breakfast and easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. .

This is our second year staying here, and once again we had a fantastic time. Sherry and Charles are perfect hosts and are always available to provide you with information and recommendations about anything in the local area. The rooms are nice and clean and you can enjoy sitting on the first floor enclosed porch, the 2nd floor open porch... More

We stayed in the Princess Room - Advertised as the best view of the harbor - Actually the view is from the common living room. Also advertised as New full bath - actually the bath is assessed from a common hallway and stairway. The Queen size room is almost fully taken up by the queen size bed, you can walk... More

We wanted a short getaway to the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Hambleton Inn is a relatively small B&B located right on the harbor, with a nice view of boats and the edge of the maritime museum, just one block off the main street. The owners are friendly and accommodating, and serve up a full and tasty breakfast. Our room on... More
