I stayed at this hotel a few years ago when it first opened. As a Platinum SPG Member, I stay at numerous Sheraton Hotels around the world. This one is overage or below average. The hotel has limited amenities, and the purported "concierge lounge" is a joke. It is the lobby area in the hallway as soon as you step... More

I stayed at the Sheraton Rockville a number of times and all stays were equally enjoyable. The rooms are of a decent size and beds are comfortable. Coffee makers are provided in the rooms and coffee supplies are restocked daily. Additionally, there is complimentary Starbucks coffee in the lobby each morning. The fire place is the lobby gives it a... More

I stayed here as a halfway stop on a trip down the east coast just after Thanksgiving. We checked in around 8pm and got checked in within a few minutes. Our room was on the concierge level and was very large and had great big windows. I enjoyed the roll down shades on the windows. The bathroom was large enough... More

I recently stay here in January for business travel and will never stay here again. I used to stay at this hotel often when in this area on business. After my first night I woke up the next morning with bites on my body. The hotel denies that there were any bugs, but I had to miss business meetings and... More

I stay here a few times a year for business, most recently Dec 2011, and it's a very solid hotel. If you're not in the area for business, I wouldn't recommend staying here as it's far from DC landmarks and there is nothing within walking distance. The hotel does offer a shuttle to the Metro stop or the Rio shopping... More

Stayed one night to attend a funeral. The staff could not be nicer. The room was very comfortable although the heat was loud. My only real complaint is, no wifi! Only Ethernet in the room for $11. Hard to believe.

On the good side, check-in was quick and went smoothly. The room was warm and comfortable. And the restaurant provided quick service with the breakfast buffet. There are several negatives: 1) The hotel does not have wi-fi in the room. They have ethernet, and this works fine with a laptop but not so well with an iPad if no adapter... More

Great beds but multiple maintenance issues. Our first room wouldn't lock & the tv didn't work. We moved to another room & that tv didn't work either. Our friends had a room where the ceiling in the shower collapsed. They charge for local calls, no wireless wifi, no frig or microwave. They chg 9.95 for wifi connection daily. Nice staff... More

The ameneties are very good-pool, workout room, shuttle service. The hotel was overbooked (we got our rooms, but other who were trying to check in later did not). The front desk staff handled the bumped travellers very well (I always feel sorry for the front desk folks-it's not their fault the hotel is overbooked-they just get stuck with having to... More
