This Sheraton is practically brand new, with very tastefully decorated rooms. The staff was very friendly (no mention of Priceline at check in) and the lobby was well designed. The only drawback to this hotel is its location- it is basically in Gaithersburg- and the drive to DC can be long during rush hour. Al in all, it was an... more

When we arrived, our room wasn't ready yet, so they temporarily checked us into a King room so we could freshen up and leave our luggage while we went out for the day. When we arrived back that evening, our room, with two double beds, was ready for us. They had already checked us in - we just picked up... more

I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. Before I went, I did a little research online and was a little apprehensive as to what to expect. Somone had mentioned the toilet keeps running. I experienced that the first night and it got to the point I called the front desk. They didn't have a plumber on site so she... more

I stayed in this hotel on a return trip to the DC area to visit friends. A special, and quite reasonable, rate was offered. The hotel was not difficult to find and the checkin staff were pleasant and efficient. My room was large, comfortable, and well appointed. For two of the three days I was there, I took breakfast in... more

The Rockville Sheraton was our base for visiting D.C. for the inaugural "festivities" on the Mall. I was a little leery of our accomodations based on some of the TripAdvisor reviews, but with the lack of available rooms over the inaugural period, we figured we take out chances. The Rockville Sheraton turned out to be great place to stay. The... more

Very nice, modern hotel but we had a few problems that this hotel needs to work on. When I booked the hotel, the reservationist said we could have a rollaway in the room. When checking in, the young man at the desk was very rude. We asked about the rollaway and he said, "we never put a rollaway in a... more

I have stayed at a number of hotels in the Rockville/Silver Spring area for various family events. This is easily the nicest of the hotels we've stayed in. This property was relatively new (2 years or less) and a number of the other places we have stayed in seemed tired and faded. The rooms and beds were nice. The shower... more

My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton on a Friday night in October. I was in town to attend a class in Rockville Center the following day. I found the hotel on Expedia, but went to the Sheraton website to do the actual booking. I received an excellent weekend rate of $99 for a deluxe king room. Using the... more

Do not stay here. There are bedbugs. Need I say more? On top of that, the room was dirty. Some sort of powder all over the desk chair, stray hairs in the bathroom, dirty bathroom floor. They also have practically no staff on the weekends- when we asked for more pillows (because one of the pillowcases had a brown stain... more

Cute and Small Hotel. Very nice and friendly staff. Remembered my name everytime I returned to the hotel. Rooms beautifully decorated, but small compared to just about every other hotel I have stayed in (over 100 nights a year). Little space for hanging clothes and no drawers. Great TV. Very comfortable "Starwood" bed. Charge $9.99 per day for internet access... more
