I'D REALLY GIVE IT A 4.75. I really liked the couple. They have a BEAUTIFUL home and you felt as if they welcomed you into it. The room we stayed in was quaint but modern and that's what we were looking for. And it's few and far between. The cottages are superb. The grounds are large. Reasons why not a... More

We were delighted to have you stay and sensed after getting to know you that as a doctor, you probably weren't the biggest fan of house-pets (our doggies). But just so you know, we deliberately portray our 'girls' on our website and use meticulous housekeeping practices to counteract any pet issues. Additionally, pets are not allowed in main house guest... More

My husband & I stayed at the Inn@ Huntingfield Creek last Oct. for just 2 nights but felt like we were reuniting with old friends due to the amazing hospitality of owners Jim and Joanne. The Inn is so inviting you really feel at home. We loved walking the grounds and going down by the water with our new 4-legged... More

I came in from Texas to meet with 3 sisters, my stepmom and my niece. When we arrived it was snowing and it was absolutely beautiful. We rented The Pond and The Garden cottages. Both of which we very nicely decorated and very comfortable. The beds and linens were very cozy!! The Innkeepers; Jim and Joanne were very welcoming, friendly... More

My husband and I enjoyed the best Valentine's Day weekend at the Inn @ Huntingfield Creek. We were immediately welcomed by the owners upon entering. The Inn is located in Rock Hall, MD and it is such a cute water community and lovely get-away (just a few hours from Baltimore and DC). My husband and I absolutely loved our room... More

We stayed in the island Cottage. Jim, Joanne, & their welcoming committee (3 happy & excited dogs) provided us with a very comforting greeting. We toured the large, secluded property, & everything was very clean & cozy. Cottage was equipped with anything we needed. The option of breakfast at the inn or at their local coffee shop made our morning... More

It would be reasonable to drive across seven states to taste the berry cobbler/bread pudding served at the Inn of Huntingfield Creek. If not for the outstandingly warm and friendly inn keepers, Jim and Joanne, their pack of enthusiastic dogs, and the fine accommodations and surroundings. The ascetic beauty of Delmarva in winter (we stayed two nights during the holidays)... More

From the moment my husband and I arrived at the Inn for our overnight getaway, we were floored by the picturesque landscape & views... We had the warmest of welcomes by both the Inn keepers, Jim & Joanne, and their adorable canine "welcoming committee"! During the entire experience we were made to feel like home. We stayed in one of... More

My wife and I stayed four nights at the Inn at Huntingfield Creek for an anniversary trip. The location is great and the grounds were beautiful. The room we stayed in was the Huntingfield in the main house. It was very spacious and extremely clean. The breakfasts were tasty and generous. Jim and Joanne were wonderful hosts, and their four... My wife and I spent only one night there this fall as an anniversary getaway. Jim and Joanne are great hosts. They really want their guests to enjoy the place. Rooms were great, all have kingsize beds. Best part is there aren't a lot of antiques around and not very many "do-dads" sitting on all the flat surfaces. Grounds are... More

My husband and I booked the Zen cottage for our 15 year anniversary and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The inn keepers, Jim and Joanne, were more than accommodating, providing a delicious breakfast each morning and lots of advice on things to do nearby. Their warm welcome will definitely bring us back again! The cottage was absolutely beautiful... More

We feel blessed to be allowed to share in a special stay like an anniversary. We remember very well how important it is to get away and just be 'a couple'. Glad to hear you enjoyed yourselves! More
