This is the 2nd time we've been here. We came to celebrate my husband's birthday at the Pond Cottage which was just wonderful. It was outfitted with just about everything you could think of--microwave, refrigerator, coffee and tea, TV, ceiling fan, air conditioning, even candles around the jacuzzi tub. The soy bean crop was going great guns so we couldn't... More

Doing a fly drive around Washington, the Inn at Huntingfield Creek was our first post D.C. stop for two nights. Jim and Joanne were great hosts and the location and accommodation even better than advertised. We stayed in one of the guest cottages and it was beautiful. Like other guests we really enjoyed the tranquility of the location and the... More

My husband and I were looking for a quick two day vacation somewhere near our home outside of Washington, DC and stumbled (online) upon the Inn at Huntingfield Creek. We decided to give it a try (even though I am particular about the B&Bs I like) and we were not disappointed. We had a wonderful two-day getaway at this picturesque... More

My wife and I got married at the Inn this past weekend. We've stayed there before and fell in love with the place, and that is why we knew that it was the only place to have our special event. In every aspect, Huntingfield excels. Here's how to think of it: Your coolest friends have invited you to stay with... More

With three of our kids at sleep away camp and the fourth on vacation with some cousins, I decided to book a belated anniversary getaway with my husband. Our summer was filled with lacrosse, soccer and swim meets, with very little downtime for my husband and me. We live in a touristy town along the Chesapeake Bay, so I was... More

My wife and I decided to celebrate my birthday in May at the Inn at Huntingfield Creek. I have only great things to say about this B&B and the inn keepers. From the beginning, our experience was very pleasant. Booking our stay was easy and we were welcomed to the property with a quick tour. Jim and Joanne were such... More

We had the advantage of reading the reviews before we made our reservations so we expected a wonderful getaway. Those who wrote before us were absolutely on target. We had a delightful time, and the owner's dogs, Jezabel, Maggie, and Java were gracious to our Chihuahua, Pete. This is a place to go and relax, do some biking, and just... More

My fiance and I visited here for a weekend and we have been to a few B&B's and this one is definitely a must visit! Jim and Joanne the owners, along with the welcoming committee Jezabel, Maggie, and Java (their 3 adorable dogs), who played tour guide to a few of our walks, were very gracious and warm! It is... Yes, not having a TV around really does help you unwind and take in the beauty -- and the company -- around you! I visited this lovely Inn on Sunday 7/20/14 and I must say everybody needs to visit. The owners where so nice and I could have played with their dogs all day. And the sunflower fields.....omg...I already am so deeply in love with them I was in complete awe. The breakfast was delicious, especially the blueberry muffins. Wish I had more... More
