This is the worst hotel my husband or I have ever stayed at. The room was disgusting. The water was orange, the towels were stained. We were in the hotel for as little time as possible. After showering, there was an orange residue that came off on the towels turning them orange. This was an all around horrible experience. They... more

Very cheap if you are looking for a deal. I'm a single guy used to roughing it but many of the negative reviews are true. Very old and worn furniture. The towels were originally white but are now brown. Bugs in room. There was a hole the size of a softball in the wall under my sink which I plugged... more

We arrived at the hotel about 9 p.m. having spent the day sight seeing. We had booked two rooms at the same time, under the same name, yet one room was upstairs and one downstairs. We readily knew the room beside us was vacant as shortly after we arrived, people were checked into that room. The rooms were absolutely dirty;... more

"Hotel Horror" is too good a name for this hotel. It was very cold when we arrived (possibly in the low 30s). I turned up the heat, but it only came out warm. The cold air came in through the door like a sieve. The room was ice cold from our knees down. Besides "freezing" all night on a very... more

Bates motel would have been a better place to stay then this dump! Staff was fine. No troubles there. sleeping area was even okay, beds seemed clean but the room smelled damp and moldy. The bathroom was SO BAD! it smelled like someone was killed. The water and bathroom smelled like blood and our family did not want to brush... more

I stayed at this "hotel" on September 6th on my way down to the Outer Banks. I was traveling with my dog, so my options were limited. When I walked into the lobby, it was immaculate and the front desk representative was very pleasant. The outiside of the hotel was run down, but I am low maitenance and only require... more

I stayed at this place this past weekend with my two children and wife. My stay was very comfortable and we got a good night sleep even on a night when the hotel was completely booked. It is an outdoor property so you are not going to be able to compare it to Holiday Inn express who by the way... more

Before leaving home, I actually dreaded the thought of entering the hotel because of some of the reviews I had read, but because of budget constraints, I decided to have a go. I was pleasantly surprised by the accomodating staff at reception, by the clean rooms and bedding, the size and clean condition of the swimming pool, and the tranquility.... more

I often travel from New England to NC via the Eastern Shore (Delmarva Peninsula) staying in Pocomoke City, a convenient overnight stopping point. This June 21, 2008 stay was my first at Days Inn Pocomoke City and it was DISGUSTING! Never again! There aren't many motel choices in this area...so keep driving. Either select Salisbury, MD; Dover, DE; or Seaford,... more

I'm an older (54) experienced traveler and It has many decades since I've had the misfortune of staying at such a run down motel. This motel is obviously a Days Inn franchise and it has definitely fallen off of the corporate headquarters radar. It should be a crime to display the Days Inn sign at this motel. The first visual... more
