The hotel itself was dirty. Needs updating. The beds are very hard. Room was clean. I went to use the iron on a white shirt and brown water came out of the iron. The ironing board was black charred (disgusting). I went downstairs to the desk, she was the only person I could find and got a new iron. Breakfast... more

We have stayed at Holiday Inn Express's before and this was the most uncomfortable bed (hard), that we have ever had. The hallway had a strong odor of smoke and by the second day it started to permeate the room even though we were on the opposite end of the smoking section. Unfortunately this was most likely the best hotel... more

So my family and I are going to Disney World in February, my daughter who is two has never stayed in a hotel before so we decided to make a trial run of it. We stayed at the Pocomoke City Holiday Inn Express. Check in went great, the lady behind the counter was very nice, but never did offer to... more

I recently made reservations on-line at this hotel (a returning customer). Due to a change in work requirements, I called the following day to cancel the reservation. I was informed that because I had chosen the “best rate available”, I would be charged for the first night (almost $100). Yes, it was in the terms – at the bottom just... more

Our family of 6, travelling in two cars to the Outer Banks, selected the Holiday Inn as a stopping point. There is convenient access from the highway and it's location close to shopping and dining perfectly fit our needs. The two rooms we booked were across the hall from each other. Each was clean and spacious. The in-room refrigerator was... more

Reasonably clean and service was professional. This hotel is but nothing is special and extra. We stayed with two children and spent extra money expecting children can enjoy swimming but swimming pool open short and check out time is too early. Any way they look unwelcoming and almost make me feel chilly. No Jacuzzi. Bath room was good size but... more

The Holiday Inn Express a great find to any vacationer. The rooms were bigger than most hotels we've stayed at, even with the cot opened. Large continental breakfast...FREE!! Beds were extra comfy with lots of pillows. Clean room and bathroom. Pool area was clean and filled with guests. Great time! Rooms are not very sound proof, we did hear our... more

We stayed at this hotel July 30th, 2006. Hotel is very nice and seems quite new. The sheets had been changed and the floors vacuumed, but the bathroom was very dirty. Commode had urine around top rim and around base from previous visitor. When I went to use hairdryer it was very greasy and nasty. Floors had not been cleaned--still... more
