Ladies get away evening using a Groupon for Sandaway. We had a wonderful room in the older part of the property. Had to use the step stool to get into the very comfy bed. “Disappointing Inn”

Location is the best thing about this property, and that is outstanding. Beyond that, average is the best adjective. Greeting was monotone. Ants in the bathroom. Décor in need of a facelift. A real disappointment at this price point...

Disappointing reviews are really uncommon here at Sandaway. I am very sorry we did not meet your expectations. Ants should never be in your room, but this strange spring weather unfortunately caused an issue for you. “Charming Eastern Shore setting on the water.”

My husband and I enjoyed a cozy room with a love seat looking out over the water. There could not be a more relaxing atmosphere. Delicious pastries delivered to our door in the mornings. We will definitely come back when we come this way again.

“Relaxing weekend away!”

We stayed in room 101. Room was small but was fine for us as the weather was beutiful and spent time relaxing in the sun. Location is amazing! Will return in the future maybe to a larger room. They provide a basket of goodies deliver to your door for breakfast . Thought the mattress on bed to be very nice

Congratulations on your 34 year wedding anniversary! Thank you for your detailed review of Sandaway. Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge is a great spot for viewing bald eagles.
