When our annual New Year's getaway was cancelled a couple days before, we did a random search online for an alternative. I called the Robert Morris Inn to verify a budget listing for a Cabin room. Janet made sure I realized how small that room was and offered a great deal on a Captain's room (King bed, separate sitting room,... More

We have been going here for years to enjoy the exquisite dishes prepared perfectly by Chef Mark Salter and staff! Whether we dine in the dining room or tavern area the ambiance is conducive to savoring each bite and sip of very good wine. Lately we have been lucky enough to stay overnight at the Inn in several of the... More

My husband and I decided to get away for a quiet evening for dinner and a night's stay someplace. We chose the Robert Morris Inn, in Oxford mainly because we have wanted to visit a bed and breakfast in a nice quaint town on the water. Well we had that and more at the Robert Morris Inn. Afternoon tea was... More

This place was pleasant to deal with since we booked our reservation over the phone with Janet. When we got here, we checked in with Janet and she was just as enjoyable in person. She led us to our room. We stayed in the cabin Bottle 1 which was very spacious and clean. The afternoon tea was just adorable and... More

So many good things to say. Let's start with the reservation. Janet took my reservation. She was very thorough and explained about the accommodation, no TV's in the room. There are TV's,in the sitting room at the front of the Inn and in the Tavern. Not a problem for me, I was looking forward to unplugging. We were also looking... More

Thank you for choosing to stay at our vintage Inn and once our customers get over there being no televisions in the rooms, they like you, tend to unwind and relax very quickly. The main reason for this is that our bedrooms are in two wings, one built in 1700 and the other in 1800 and as a consequence their... More

We stayed in Bottle Cottage 2 and very much enjoyed our one night stay at RMI. Beautiful view out the large bay window of the Tred Avon River and the Oxford/Bellview ferry. A TV and single cup Keurig brewer were welcome amenities. An $18 per person breakfast allowance was also a very nice touch. The eggs Benedict with crab meat... More

A weekend in Oxford, MD is a great, relaxing get-away. We would definitely recommend the Robert Morris Inn to friends and we would definitely stay there again. We were there 2 nights - Friday through Sunday. Our room was one of the 'Captain' rooms, with a sitting room, bedroom, closet area, and a large 2 room bath with a claw... More

The location is perfect for people trying to escape city life. Oxford is a quiet, picturesque, and charming town, and the Robert Morris Inn fits perfectly into it. The place seems stuck in another time, which isn't a bad thing - I quite enjoy feeling like I've been transported to another era. If you enjoy hotels with rich histories and... More

My husband and I spent three nights at the Robert Morris Inn in early September. We were beyond happy with the location, the service, and the restaurant.
