The RMI was all that we imagined. Quiet, scenic, luxurious, romantic. No phone or TV in our bungalow. Terrific local restaurants to compliment RMI's own crab cakes. Take the ferry over to Bellevue for more interesting shopping and food.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our wedding anniversary at the Bouchaine Dinner! Waking up every morning overlooking the water, having breakfast in the tavern, sipping afternoon tea in the Tred Avon Room are part of what you can experience with your stay! Very romantic! Evening or early morning strolls are a delight! This was our 2nd stay at the... More

Dear Kathleen Thank you for returning at such a special time and so please you enjoyed your experience. The Bouchaine wines really punch above their weight and Mark loves pairing on those dinners. We will be publishing a new Winter Wine Series in about two months, keep an eye on the web site. Regards Mark & Ian More

We went as a family of four and ended up with wonderful, restful sleeps, decadent dinners and breakfasts, afternoon teas with cookies/scones to die for and a view of the river. The staff were friendly, rooms clean, history in every corner and nearby attractions. We were very pleased.

We needed a quick get away just to unwind and relax. The Robert Morris Inn was perfect. Very comfortable, clean and the service was great. We had a great view, overlooking the water. Couldn't have asked for a better view. We had a fantastic dinner at the tavern (which is part of the Inn). Everything was delicious - but I... More

First I must state that the Inn is over 300 years old and the current owners have only had the property for three years. The service is excellent and the facility is very clean. There is a tavern attached to the Inn and you go there for a very good breakfast. I am hoping that the current owners have plans... More

My husband and I recently stayed at the Robert Morris Inn and we were extremely pleased overall. Even during the offseason, the Chesapeake offers a gorgeous backdrop. The town of Oxford is tiny and therefore does not provide much in terms of shops and dining, especially during the offseason. The inn however, has an excellent tavern and restaurant. We were... More

Oxford is our favorite place on the Eastern Shore. We discovered Oxford almost 15 years ago and continue to return several times a year. We have tried several inns and B&B's in Oxford, Easton, and St. Michaels, but the only place we stay now is at The Robert Morris Inn. We love the atmosphere of the charming inn and especially... Thank you for your kind words and we are indeed most fortunate to be located in one of the most historic, untouched and charming towns on the Eastern Shore. Combine that with America's oldest Inn and it is a great pairing to combat the stresses of a modern life. Look forward to welcoming you back. Regards Mark & Ian More

This was the third or fourth time we stayed at the Inn. My mother arranged for two rooms for us and a dinner and breakfast package. From the first email she sent to Ian (who I believe is one of the owners) to the day we checked out, we had wonderful experiences. The food was exceptional and the wait staff... More

We were a little nervous about our stay at the Inn. Though most of the reviews were good, there were some question marks. Having booked through a discount site, I was prepared for a really small room, but when I asked if there was a chance at an upgrade, they told me that they had already arranged that! The room,...
