Seems the welcoming folks at Combsberry Inn have made some four legged friends...our Golden Retriever, Casey, also enjoyed both the cottage and surrounding grounds of this historic estate-turned-B&B. Thanks to Megan and Abby for making us feel welcome including the fruit and munchies in the little fridge. Suggestion to all: bring a bottle (or two) of wine and enjoy the... More

My husband and I rented the Oxford Cottage so that we could bring our dog with us. Sadie's notoriously timid and we were a bit worried about how she would adjust to her new surroundings. Our minds were immediately eased when we met Megan. She asked our names and then our dog's name and greeted her. Our dog loved her!... More

This is a lovely and secluded location, a true historic marvel built in 1730 but with all the amenities of today; the Carriage House where we stayed is more modern while the mansion is of course more traditional and historic. Loved the service, loved the breakfast, the Innkeeper could not have been nicer nor more knowledgeable about Oxford and about... More

We couldn't have found a more charming and friendly spot in the world. Not only was the Innkeeper sweet and accomodating, she was also filled with excellent ideas on how to make the most of our time in this quaint village of Oxford. The ice cream store she recommended was in fact the best we ever had. The grounds were... More

My wife and I stayed at Combsberry for 3 days in May. We stayed on a Monday through THursday and had the entire property to ourselves. We could not have been happier. We stayed in the Carriage House, which was very secluded and met all of our needs. Breakfasts and chats with Abby in the morning were the highlight of... More

I want to write a balanced review on this property so I will start with the good and then slowly get to the very problematic issues. Firstly, the inn is situated on a lovely river and the grounds leading up to the river have lounge chairs, a hammock, a dock- it is really quite beautiful and perfect for reading or... More

Combsberry is a historic Inn that sits on 35 acres of waterfront property. We are a very secluded locale in the heart of Marylands Eastern Shore, with woods surrounding us on three sides and water on the fourth. The charm and appeal of the Combsberry is the simple fact that as soon as one enters our driveway, they immediately feel... More

Just over one year later from our first stay, we returned to the Combsberry for a Romantic Weekend. I cannot speak more highly about this place. The Breakfasts are delightful and quite filling for a busy day out. The Innkeeper is one of the most pleasant and helpful persons you will meet. Once again a 5 star experience across the... More

I am actually writing this review from the combs berry's library, seated on a comfortable leather couch by the fire with an outstanding view of the water. This b&b is precisely as described on the web page; a well-maintained 18th century manor house with several outbuildings. The inn's public spaces are inviting and charming. Our room was cozy, with a... More

We got married at Combsberry on September 10 and couldn't have had a more perfect day. The Inn in on a beautiful secluded inlet off the bay. The owner and caretaker couldn't be more accomodating. The rooms are beautiful, large and clean. Stay here you won't regret it.

My husband and I stayed at Combsberry in August of 2010. We had been in correspondence with the Innkeeper, Abby, for weeks prior to our arrival. She was so pleasant on the phone and via our email correspondence, that we were not surprised that she was just as lovely in person. We stayed in the Oxford Cottage, a free standing... More
