Knew this was not going to be a quality hotel, but was surprised at how 'un-quality' it was. The staff at night could not answer questions, I was put on hold several times and just forgotten, and one time they just told me to call later. The dayshift people had the appearance of staff who simply did not care -... more

My family planned to stay at the coconut malorie for a week in June. After what we encountered, we left early and rented at a chain motel. As we entered the elevator, the smell of must and mold are overwelming. The hallways are even worst. But when we entered our room, the smells hits you right upon opening the door.... more

My husband and I stayed there last weekend (May 16-18, 2008) and it was the only place where I could find an opening due to the popular Cruiser's Weekend. I booked the couple's package for an extra $150 and it was NOT worth it!! A half dozen yellow roses in the room, some coupons to lunch ($20 off) and dinner... more

We really enjoyed our stay at the Malorie but, staff is not very friendly and it was hard to contact the hotel by phone for any answers to book a date. Finally we used the computer and they contacted us. We liked the walkway to Fagers Island where we ate our lunch one day. (really nice) The Malorie overlooks the... more

Attracted by the pictures on the property's web page and talking to the staff I actually did something I usually don't and booked before checking here for reviews (knowing that I still had time to cancel if I wanted to). I was amazed to see such divergent reviews. Usually there's always one person whose only purpose, it seems, is to... more

We stayed here once before but will not go back again. This past November we found a bug in our bed and put it in a bag and asked the front desk to change our bed linens. We did not know at the time that it was a bed bug. We came home and within 2 weeks I was bitten... more

Staying in Ocean City in the off season is a great time for both resort and the city. Fairly vacant and no problems to check in. Room was clean and adequat with living, bedroom and partial kitchen all in one. Very large bath with whirlpool.Great view of bay and the small pool below our room. Overall stay was nice and... more

Coconut Malorie is a fantastic hotel. We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights on October 6th and 7th. Both rooms were very nice and very clean and fully operational. The employees were all friendly and helpful. The view of the bay is spectacular. Fagers Island is right next door and Seacrets just 10 short blocks away. We will definitely stay... more

Lobby is beautifully remodeled but the rooms are less than comfortable. When you first walk in the room you can smell the strong presence of mold/mildew. Then after closer examination you can see the mold/mildew on the ceiling coming from the air vent. It's so moist in the rooms that the carpet in the bedroom felt wet. My family woke... more

My wife and I applied for two King size beds because we were taking our son and his friend. We arrived and went to the room and there was only one bed. We thought we were in a wrong room. We went to the courtesy desk to complain and were told the sofa bed is considered the other King size... more
