Just recently stayed at this hotel last week since i had memorial day off and I'm not all that hard to impress. First the good..The location of the hotel is pretty decent its on 26th street just at the end of the boardwalk and it is basically right on the beach so you dont have to walk all that far.... more

I stayed in flagship for memorial day weekend, What a nightmare!! I was given a smoke room, they said all non-smoking rooms were taken, It smelled, my room was dirty, when I pulled back the bed covers there was ashes on the bed skirt and sheets (which I took pictures of and am sending them to the health department), that... more

Booked our stay thru the internet as the rate was reasonable for off-season. The pictures are quite deceiving!!! We arrived Apr 19th for a one nite stay. Walked into the rm, took a one look at this 1960 style dump and went immediately to front desk to check-out. The staff did assist us in finding another rm on property (6-8... more

My wife and I and our two kids stayed at this hotel for several years. We always go the first week of June to take advantage of lower rates. Our last time there was in June 2006. First, the hotel increased our rate dramatically during the few months between when we booked our vacation and we arrived at the hotel.... more

We stayed at the hotel August 25-28, 2008, and we won't go back again. Let me start out by saying that the staff is REALLY terrific!!! I had ZERO issues with them and they tried VERY hard to correct things!!!! Our room was clean...If it would not have been clean, I would not have stayed, not even for a second!!!... more

The only nice thing I can say about this place was Tiara one of the front desk managers!!! Thats it!! The hotel smells, the walls are paper thin between rooms, decor is foul. There was a family of cats living in the pirate ship in the courtyard where children play YUCK!!!!, OH and don't trust Travelocity when they say you... more

We just returned from the Flagship this last weekend.....First the staff was very nice....quick w/a smile and nice word. That is the good....and now the rest......Does Aqua color tiny bathroom give you a idea how old this place is....likely built in the sixties....dark ...musty and lots of creaky noisy wood construction .....it was about as clean as you could make... more

Overall, it was a pleasant vacation for the price. The rooms are used very hard, but the rooms were clean when we arrived and cleaned very well each day. The entire staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel was conveniently located at the beginning of the boardwalk. The outside pool area was very nice. The kids liked the game... more

Family of four with two kids did a lot of research on OC hotels. Having never stayed there, we relied on our online research to determine the best spot. Found a fair price and the amenities we sought -- pools, quiet side of the boardwalk, and enjoyed five night stay with cordial and attentive service. We would not hesitate a... more

Upon entering the Flagship, my family and I were overtaken by a dirty and unpleasant smell. The terrible smell did not get any better as we got into our room. The bed linens looked very old, as well as the curtains. The room was dark and gloomy. There was a big stain on one of the pillows, I removed it... more
